Our place is near Cradle Mountain National Park, on 100 acres with a creek (with platypus), natural springs and native alpine rainforest. The landscape is incredibly beautiful, with an abundance of wildlife and serenity. The house is one of the only properties in this area where one can self-cater. It suits two couples or a small group or family unit. One room has a double and two single beds, the other has a queen bed, as well as a short daybed with trundle that could sleep two small children

My place has a great view over the city in a quite and safe neighbourhood. It is close to the cataract gorge which is great for walks, coffee, restaurant, dinning, swimming and childrens play ground. It It is approximately 20 mins car drive from Launceston airport and 5 minutes into the centre of town. West Launceston is hilly so a car is recommended. The apartment, which is located under my private residents, provides a comfortable space with all home comforts peace, quite and privacy.

Beautiful cottage in a secluded location. Loved the easy access to the nearby mersey river. I have to mention that this cottage had all the kitchen equipment and amenities I could think of. Truly impressive, and much needed! Max and Wendy are responsive and friendly to talk to. 10/10 recommend. P.S- The cows at the creek are great listeners!

Staying at Patrick & Indira's was great! We were traveling with a baby and a toddler and they prepared things for them (high chairs, toys, books, a cot) without even asking for it. The apartment itself was really nice, bright, equipped, on a very nice location with a view on Launceston. Patrick was a nice host, always reachable by the phone and gave some great tips and ideas for what to see and do around. We all had great time!

Melissa's beautiful country house is a little slice of heaven positioned in such peaceful surroundings! We absolutely loved our 2 nights here and were blown away by the quality and attention to detail of every aspect of the property. From the minute we walked in we felt right at home and we knew this country house was something special! High-end bed linens, plush towels, pristine clean rooms and little touches all throughout the house, reflective of Melissa's travels. This was a special 2 days and I can't recommend this country house enough! One of the times I felt most welcomed in an Airbnb! Karen had the fireplace ready for us and sure to leave the place warm and cozy for us. You can truly feel how much she loves hosting and making guests feel at home with so much care and warmth. The photos honestly don’t do this place justice, it’s even cuter and more beautiful in person. And the mountain view? Absolutely stunning. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Charmaine’s hosting abilities are outstanding. We loved the beautiful local milk, bread and butter left for us, as well as breakfast options and lots of pantry staples. She preassembled the portacot for us which was a godsend after a long day of travel with a toddler. Charmaine also provided toys, books and a high chair for our bub. The linen and furnishing were super cosy and high quality. The only thing I would forewarn future guests of is that there are high windows that cannot be blocked of sunlight which is tricky if you have a baby that naps during the day. We struggled to get our baby to have his naps. It’s also a very hilly area so if that’s a problem for people, beware! Of course, that’s not Charmaine’s fault!

Perfectly located within very short walking distance of Charles Street and its great coffee and dining options. Very comfortable home with character, large high ceilinged rooms and comfy beds. Peaceful location with super quiet bedrooms. Lovely sunny spot on the front verandah for a cup of tea in the morning. Off street parking suitable for smaller car at the rear of the property. Would happily stay again on a return visit to Launceston.

Jo was a wonderful host, and her AirBnB was exactly like the photos shown. Her place was cozy, and we felt right at home. She was attentive to our needs, asking us prior to our visit how many beds we needed. Jo made sure to fill the cupboards with different cereals, and each bedroom was tidy and clean. The entertainment in the living room was full of board games, books, and even though we didn't have kids with us, there were options available for children, which we found was very attention to detail. The view was stunning, and we enjoyed the garden downstairs with the bunnies, the chickens, and the seed library. Thank you for such a beautiful stay! Would definitely come back.
