Holiday rentals with a patio in Playa Junquillal

Denise's one bedroom guest apartment was perfect for my wife and I. It was a nice quiet spot located inside the gated community of Hacienda Panilla. There are two things my wife and I really love and thats pickleball and the beach. Denise's property gave us quick and easy access to both. From their property it was a quick 5 minute drive to the beach club access to beautiful Avellanas beach. In the other direction it was only a 5 minute ride to the Hacienda pickleball club. Surf sessions in the morning and pickleball matches in the evening. We had everything we needed right at our finger tips. We highly recommend this property to other travelers looking for a nice, clean and quiet spot to relax, yet not far from great activities.

We loved our stay so much, the space is beautiful with lots of natural light, great studio layout. Mariel was very helpful throughout our stay, and it was so nice to do a Pilates class in her studio which is on the same property. It's in a very peaceful part of Tamarindo, but still close by to the town center. We will definitely stay here again in the future! It's my fave place I've stayed in Tamarindo thus far, and I go often. Happy to have found this gem. Thanks Mariel for making our stay amazing!

Laura is an amazing host, friendly, helpful & accommodating. All the great restaurants, shopping, beaches are ajust a few minutes walk or golf cart ride away. Had 6 people in our group and we all had our own Casita or studio apartment, but yet were all together enjoying the many common areas. Amazing property with so many different outdoor spaces to enjoy. Spectacular ocean views,from the infinity pool, 2 of the different longe areas and more. Laura was also helpful with getting us transportation to and from the airport, also to set up excursions for us that we could rely on and would pick up/drop off at our front door. Would give 10 stars to Laura and Casa Catalina if it was possible. Definitely referring her to friends and family.

Just an amazing stay. Very clean. I’m a little… bougie. But I was quite impressed with the stay and the level of cleanliness, which means a lot coming from me. Well maintained. Great time. Pool was cleaned daily. Jurgen seems like a straight up guy. We had no issues on our stay but I’m sure if we did he would address them rapidly. We were in need of batteries and he had them there within the hour! This is quite the hidden gem. Great value if you’re looking to either A) just sit poolside and relax Or B)treat it like your home base. Use the money you’re saving compared to other similar places that are double the price and not even as clean, and rent a car and travel all over The cherry on top was the groundskeeper, Jenaro. What an incredible human being. When you stay here, feel free to ask Jurgen or Jenaro about what he recommends. You can’t go wrong. Must stay place. No complaints 10/10

The place was exactly as the pictures show. It was clean and organized. Well equipped kitchen. The pool is right across the street from the unit. Location, just a few minutes from the beach. Carley’s, is very helpful, great communication and easy check in.

We had a fantastic time at Lynzi and Graham’s place. They were super hosts and helped us tremendously. I would give them 10 stars if possible. Their location was beautiful. Lynzi’s attention to detail was super impressive. She even helped me celebrate my birthday with a lovely birthday crown. We would definitely visit again. We definitely recommend arriving in daylight with an SUV (SPORT mode!!) . The drive at night was tricky, but Lynzi and Graham met us and helped us to the house. Beautiful view. Beautiful sunsets.

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of magical. The location is perfect, easy to find and just steps away from the beach. Waking up here is a gift in itself; the sunrises are breathtaking, painting the sky with golden hues while the world is still quiet. It’s a peaceful moment to embrace nature and let the morning light wash over you. The home is fully equipped, offering every comfort we could need. From a warm and inviting pool to cozy interiors, everything is designed for relaxation. Jessica, our host, was wonderful, her recommendations were spot on, including the best birthday cake I could ask for! Avellanas has plenty of great restaurants nearby, and there are mini-markets close for anything you might need. Whether you’re here to explore or simply unwind, this place is a gem. Highly recommend!

Amazing accommodation, all very nice and tidy, the hosts are always attentive and the very spacious house can accommodate several carts the rooms are large and the patio with the pool everything is perfect, the location is the best part near restaurants, supermarkets and 20min from Tamarindo and maximum 30min from other beaches, I would definitely come back!

Where to begin with my applause for this place! Lovely abode, tucked away in a little jungle oasis but a mere 10 minute walk to the beach & bars etc. Bikes on site which is a fun plus, beach chairs, cooler, scuba gear and more fun toys to enjoy at beach or in the great pool that was so refreshing to jump in after a salty beach day. There is also a washer and dryer that works great, countless different towels to use for pool, beach and showers. The bed was extremely comfy, the bedroom stays nice and cool, the shower has hot water and the porch is a beautiful way to spend an afternoon or evening. Communication is super quick and helpful. We will most definitely return, and bring friends and family to enjoy this wonderful spot. We love Villa Espeval!

Great value for Playa Grande. Patrick was a very thoughtful and helpful host. He kindly allowed us a late check out and offered us a ride to help us carry our things to our next accommodation nearby. The space is small but efficiently laid out. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast.

We were totally immersed in the beautiful ocean sunsets, the sound of the rhythmic waves landing on the shores directly outside our Airbnb, the early morning sand beach walks, the sight of fish as we snorkeled a few hundred feet away, and the relaxing mornings on our front patio. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the area. These were perfect days. Our first night we were awakened several times by restless barking neighborhood dogs. The next evenings were fine. We feel the dogs became accustomed to us. Know that we never saw the dogs, so we never felt threatened. Definitely recommended.

We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

We have already visited Pinilla on several occasions. For us its location and safety is most valuable. By joy, on this occasion our stay was up to par with the house and its hosts Veronica and Mahomet.

The house is superb and very well located a few minutes from Samara and Carillo beach, grocery stores and restaurants. The rooms are spacious with private bathrooms. Only small downside, the neighbor's rooster sings very early in the morning and in various situations...but we get used to it with time. Galileo is very responsive as well as Sandra. I would highly recommend this house. We had a good time there.

Great place to stay. Has everything you need. Close to the beach. Pools on site are lovely. Roof top deck is fabulous.

We loved staying at this location, it had everything that could be offered for a comfortable beach stay. Three people slept very comfortably. The staff of the property were very accommodating and went the extra mile.

We absolutely loved Patrick’s place! It was everything we hoped for and more. We felt right at home and safe at all times. Everything is extremely walkable - the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Patrick was easy to communicate with, and very quick to respond to any and every question we had. Thank you so much, Patrick! We were also amazed by every detail that was thought of, to make sure we had the best possible stay (kitchen supplies, beach chairs, grocery bags, picnic bag- you name it)! We hope to be back in the very near future!

No complaints. Gated condo community. Easy, free parking. Could walk to a coffee shop and a few restaurants. 15 minute walk to main road. Condo had some beach necessities like beach chairs, towels, noodles, which we used multiple times. Lovely outdoor patio with a beautiful view. Would definitely stay here again!

Villa Verde 29 is very comfortable and has all the amenities for an extended stay. We are a three generation family and had an amazing stay and the condo satisfied all our needs for two weeks. Air conditioning works great, kitchen, bedding, towels fully stocked. Laundry an amazing bonus. The condo complex is very comfortable, pool has sun in the AM and shade in PM. Condo community is very pleasant. Very safe area. Walk to grocery store, restaurants, tours, beach depends on your “pace”. We rented a golf cart. Area has such great access to everything you could possibly ask for. Don’t miss the sunsets… Marco is responsive to all requests. Pura Vida!

Stephanie was very communicative and helpful during our stay. The place was conveniently nearby a few different restaurants and a market. We also found it to be very accessible to the activities in Tamarindo and the beach. Thank you for a nice stay, well worth the price. Pura vida!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The pool was great and the beaches nearby were a lovely addition. The kitchen is fully equipped which we really appreciated. Far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of tourists but close enough to pop into town for the day should you choose to explore Tamarindo. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with from the start to finish. Clean, quiet and accessible.
