Great house for a large group or family vacation

Pictures don’t quite do Villa Lou Lou justice, the sunsets will stop you in your tracks. We entered the villa felt the peacefulness, the landscape & design of the place is stunning & perfect for families. The location is amazing & playa grande beach was by far the best beach around. We were able to go for a morning walk to get a few groceries if needed or a quick drive to local groceries. Be sure to step out the back doors in the mornings to hear the howler monkeys. Claire was a very helpful host with recommendations for things to do around the area. We’ll be back forsure!

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of Costa Rica

They were gone of us staying at Kenneth‘s place in Playa grande. Six siblings +3 wives. We loved the private Casitas that All enjoyed us a communal spaces which brought us together as a family kitchen was very well stocked with shockingly sharp knives, which is somewhat unheard of in Airbnb’s. I would highly recommend the thing that this beautiful Villa spread over such a large area area so full of birds, holler monkeys, iguanas, and a glorious array of flora wherever we looked. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and no matter what time of day or what love love tide. It was such a beautifully diverse ecosystem to enjoy. The water was very accessible, even to some of us with mobility issues if you have a good size group of people, I highly highly recommend Villa luna grande. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back again to enjoy all of this.

Our stay at Antonio’s place was nothing short of amazing. Antonio was super helpful and responsive to all requests. He made our stay stress free as he provided awesome recommendations for a driver as well as a personal chef for my birthday. Cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re considering it for your stay in Costa Rica, do it. :)

CeibaMar is a beautiful place! As all the other reviews described, you will wake up to waves crashing on the ocean and possibly some of the Howler monkeys. You are 100 yards of their beautiful backyard away from the beach. We saw many hermit crabs and iguana along the beach that the kids loved. The kids loved the pool, although not huge, was big enough for them to spend hours in. The house itself is truly something we had never seen before with screened open air “sky bridges” that connect the bedrooms to the main house. The location is great with the beach and is about a 25 min walk into town on the beach. Lots of restaurants walking distance on the road too. Everyone had a great time. Thank you!

Wow! What an incredible place. We loved it! Great value. The pool is fantastic. The architecture is amazing. Fabrice was a perfect host! I’d absolutely come back again!

So happy we stayed here! The cutest villa that’s even more breathtaking in person! Felt private and safe, we were all so comfortable with our stay. Andre was an excellent host, provided many recommendations for activities and places to eat. The Villa is in walkable distance to the beach, which is great because it gives you a chance to check out all the local shops and restaurants. Getting to the villa was easy, our host Andre was there to greet us in person and show us around. Overall a 10/10 experience!! A beautiful hidden gem. Hope to one day visit again, PURA VIDA!

The property is located in a pristine, quiet setting surrounded by beautiful views and the sounds of birds and monkeys! Las Ventanas is a secure community with a quick drive to Playa Grande. This house is a new build and an excellent option for a luxury property in Costa Rica.

Casa Duna was a truly incredible experience! The place looks exactly like the photos, and are actually even better. Adriano and Deniz were SO helpful in coordinating activities and giving us recommendations, they made the stay extremely memorable. The location was incredible, 5 minute drive from town and there is a supermarket at the bottom of the community for easy access to food, drinks, etc. loved this stay!!!

This villa in was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the meticulous design and attention to detail throughout the space. Every inch of the home felt thoughtfully curated. One of the absolute highlights was the private pool so refreshing and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Beyond the villa itself, the community outdoor space was another standout. The sauna, ice plunge, and lounge chairs created the ultimate relaxation spot. A huge thank you to our host, Seven, who was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. One of the best parts of our stay was the amazing recommendations. We booked in villa massages with a fantastic masseuse.The villa was private and secure, offering total peace of mind while still being close to everything. A huge bonus was the free beach club access, perfect for morning breakfasts with stunning beachside views. This villa exceeded all expectations and I cannot wait to come back!

We had a fabulous time at this place. The house itself is beautiful and just steps away from the beach. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We especially liked the security guard, Jose. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!

A truly perfect spot for our multi generational family vacation! To my mind there is only one negative influence at this property. It is not something the hosts can control, and I’ll get it out of the way first here: The road/street is under construction/development, and there are crews working from 7am to 6pm everyday. If you’re out and about during the day (like us), it won’t make a significant impact. With that out of the way, all other influences were perfect! The property is superbly designed and laid out. Very private, with monkeys literally swinging through the trees behind the bedroom pods. The main house provides a stylish and comfortable place for the crew to gather, plan, play games and cook. Stocked with everything you need, and spotless. The pods provide a quiet, private and secure space to retreat to for reflection and sleep. Pool is perfect to cool off. Property is easy walk to every activity for young and old, no hills! Overall, best imaginable spot for us! Big thanks!

Nathalie and Nico were fantastic hosts. The home genuinely looks exactly like the pictures. We were met at check in and walked through the house, it was very clean and well stocked, and the location was an average of 5 minutes (by Uber) from many, many restaurants and outings. It fit 6 adult women comfortably and we all felt safe. Nathalie even stopped by on my actual birthday with a card, candle, and small pastry which was incredibly thoughtful. The only real downsides were the power and water outages. There were 2 of each in the week we were there. All of these events were resolved within about an hour or less, with the longest issue being the water stopping for about 3 hours the morning we were leaving. These issues were out of their control, but just something to keep in mind. There were also a lot of tiny crabs?? Very non-threatening (coming from someone who does NOT do bugs) but again, just something to note. Overall I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Tamarindo.

Paula was an amazing host who helped us a lot during our wonderful two month stay. The house was full of toys and the neighborhood very friendly.

Our stay here was incredible, If your looking for a prívate and calm place don’t even think about it and book the place right away. We left today and we are already looking forward to come back.

What more than wow to say! The house was in excellent condition. She even took the time to leave the air conditioning on for our arrival in 1 of the bedrooms ( it was very hot that day). The pool, the rooms, the showers everything was clean and Helena was very responsive to all our requests. Very good communication from him and really done everything to take the pleasant stay. Highly recommend The villa is close to town and the road was very well done by small car. a must

The place was very clean, secure, beautiful and well-equipped. Very comfortable bedding. Finally Ian is very responsive, in case of need and all the instructions were very clear.

The view was everything! We loved watching the sunset every night and just hanging out in the backyard spotting monkeys in the trees. You definitely need a four-wheel drive to get to the house. But you get used to it. Host was extremely friendly and responsive. There was an adorable outdoor cat who liked to have company. Seriously the views are spectacular and you don’t want to miss out. So peaceful and away from everything.

I just loved the place and the condominium where it is located! The house is perfect for two couples or two couples with two kids (since one of the bedrooms has two couple bars). It is spacious with a nice American style kitchen, two full bathrooms, a marvelous terrace and the most gorgeous sunset view ever: you may watch the sunset Literally from the sofa of your terrace! About location: the best ever! You are just a few steps from what I consider one of the best and most beautiful beaches of Guanacaste! And you are also close to several nice restaurants of the region. I would (and will) stay here another thousand times!

The place was exactly as described—clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and shops, yet still quiet and relaxing. The host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and provided great local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, the A/C worked great, and the outdoor space was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Tamarindo! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent lodging, Doris and her family are very friendly people and were always willing to help us. They gave us local recommendations and helped us with what we requested. Private place very close to the beach, 100% recommended!
