Nenuca’s house is beautiful, even more beautiful than in the pictures!

We stayed for three nights and were very happy with the accommodation. The open air kitchen/courtyard is very private and beautiful. The unit was spotless. The alleyway to the entrance is a bit rough; however, it's not far from the main road and we enjoyed the central location. We will recommend to our friends planning on visiting Puerto Viejo. This home is even more beautiful than the pictures show. It is in a very lovely setting as well and the pool was nice and refreshing. The hosts responded quickly to our questions and needs. I would highly recommend this stay, we made some great memories here this week.

We have been traveling to Costa Rica for years. This has been one of my favorite places to stay with our two kids. The location is perfect, we had a car but chose to walk to the beach, restaurants, and stores. We had a few days of constant rain but the house had so many windows and great views of the yard and large trees that we felt like we were living outside. The house was spacious and kitchen was very nice. We loved all of the birds, monkeys, and sloths moving through the yard. The pool was perfect for the kids after a morning at the beach. Check in and out was very easy. We would stay here again! Thank you!

This place is in an ideal location! We loved being able to walk to the Cahuita National Park, which was the highlight of our trip. Being able to spend a full day hiking then come back to soak in the private pool (which was a perfect temperature in January!) was so lovely. We will definitely return!

What a stunning location and home! Everything about Villa Toucan and Villa Macaw was thought out. The outdoor bathrooms (beautiful!), the open kitchen and dining are (outstanding), the lovely, helpful staff (priceless)! All in all we had an amazing holiday in your home. We do apologize for the shift and widening of your driveway, following our transport getting stuck!!! You’re not kidding when you say a 4x4 is needed in the rainy season! But we had a healthy and active group of 15 and we’re able to walk the driveway on many occasions! Superb location that allows you to stay IN THE JUNGLE, but so close to so many great beaches and activities!

Excellent place for groups! quite big and beautiful! we all enjoyed super well, the path to the beach was complicated by the rains but well demarcated! Sorry they do not accept pets as they likewise pass by raccoons and dogs of lots near the terrace of the place, but due to said it did not give any problems.

Excellent place to stay.

Village Macaw exceeded our expectations. Our party of 10 wanted to be submerged in the Rain Forest and truly experience the culture of Costa Rica. Manuel was very helpful and quick to respond to all questions. His daughter, Maya, was a great help in securing our 4x4 rental vehicles (which is very recommended to safely get to the property). The sounds of the Rain Forest made our stay. We were greeted by howler monkey, tucans, and macaws daily along with several varieties of lizards and other birds. We hiked the 20 minutes to the beach, but often drove to do other explorations. Blanca was wonderful about refreshing our towels (as well as beach towels) daily and keeping our space clean. The openness of the property was a huge sell for us. We enjoyed the private bedrooms and the open floor plans for the bathrooms. If you really want to submerge yourself in the culture of Costa Rica and all it has to offer, this place is for you!

The house is very comfortable, spacious and invites you to have a good time. The host is pending any requests.

Leslie's place is literally a Jungle Paradise. The private pool was a huge bonus and we swam multiple times a day. The whole place is very private and the plants and flowers are beautiful. We could wake up in the morning, birdwatch from her garden, swim in the pool and walk to several really great places to eat. Very close to the ocean and the National Park. Super convenient. Leslie always got back to us right away with answers, recommendations and suggestions. I would recommend this to everyone.

Great house with a pool, has everything you might need. Beautifully landscaped lot, feels like a tropical forest, very private. A TV and a dishwasher could be added, but these are minor things. The first floor felt damp and the bathroom was poorly cleaned. We only used the 2nd floor, everything was great there. The veranda was my favorite place in the house, and the child loved to swim in the pool.

We loved the privacy of the place, the very complete amenities, the comfortable beds, the selection of board games, the impeccable pool. In general, the place is very well thought out and we are looking forward to coming back very soon. The location is very good and quiet, full of nature. The beach is a 5 minutes walk. The weather is very variant, it can rain strong in the morning and in the afternoon it is completely sunny. You can reach it in 3 minutes by car to the nearest supermarket, in 5 minutes to Puerto Viejo and in 15-20 minutes to Manzanillo. I drive slowly, there are really many animals near the street, we saw monkeys and sloths, in addition life is very quiet, we do not break that charm with our fast-paced city customs. Thank you Sharon for your willingness and making us feel at home.

The apartment complex was wonderful and very clean! We had everything we needed and it was the perfect place to relax!

Greivien was friendly, responsive, and made us feel at home. Private location away from the town but still close enough to get into town every night. Would definitely recommend this place!

What an experience! As soon as we booked the villa, Wendy and Nicole were perfect hosts, lots of communication and were happy to help with anything. As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel at home and Wendy was so hospitable and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is stunning, we loved the outside living set up! The space is spotless despite being out in the elements. And cooking out in the open did not cause any issues. The area is quiet and we felt perfectly safe. Being in the jungle was incredible, so much wildlife to see and hear. We even had monkeys and Luna the sloth to greet us on arrival! The journey to Puerto Viejo is doable on foot (about 40 minutes) and the walk along the beach is beautiful but tuk tuks are also a great way to get about. Wendy recommended some very reliable people. We cannot wait to come back and stay again! The villa cannot be faulted and the area is paradise.

The house is beautiful and clean, its location is great, giving the tranquility of nature yet you can reach downtown Puerto Viejo by car in about 7 min. The fact that there is no AC has not been an issue for us since the weather at night was quite fresh and the ventilators and fans provided was procuring a nice breeze. Some maintenance on the wooden deck and long chairs by the pool would be great to give it a better appearance.
