Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Platanias

We felt very comfortable in the stone, small summer house. We loved the courtyard covered by an old vine. In the evening you could illuminate it comfortably and beautifully. We were pleased that there were all the necessary spices in the kitchen and a bottle of red wine was on the table to welcome you. The location in a quiet side street but still only 2 minutes walk from the beach and the old village center of Colombia is ideal. The handover and communication with Dimitrios was very nice and straightforward. We are happy to recommend the place! We felt very comfortable in the small stone summer house. Amazing people, very helpful and great to be around with. Mixalis and his wife were very kind and caring and we had a great time getting to know them. Evelina was the source of all information, very responsive and friendly. When things came up she was very quick to respond and assisted us as much as possible, she also provided various tips on what to see and how to get around this beautiful place. The place itself was clean and beautiful, close to local cafes, shops and the old town. This will definitely be our go to place when we come back to Chania!

It feels like home as soon as we arrived at Grigoris's place. We were welcomed by Christina (Grigoris mom, hope we got the name right). Christina was super friendly and helpful through our stay. She brought to us some home cooked Greek pastries and biscuits next day and we loved them. The house looks and feels better than the photos. Beautiful sea view in a quiet area. We felt so relaxpastIt has everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Great place for a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back. Lots of lovely memory. Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

Super lovely apartment with a beautiful view from the bedroom and from the rooftop. Very central location and easy to discover everything by foot. Host is very responsive and I had no issues whatsoever. Great internet as well for those who need to do some work from the apartment. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay in the apartment was perfect. The place was clean and had all the amenities listed online. We were able to park near the apartment which meant we could explore all of the local beaches and visit the old town. The apartment was located 10m from the beach, ideal for a early morning swim. We would love to stay at Georgia's place again :)

Wow! Where to begin with this review - this was probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had overall, and we have stayed in a lot of airbnbs! Manos and Klelia made sure we had a fantastic experience in Chania , they are so friendly and very helpful with any questions we had, super responsive and they really went above and beyond; to the extent that when we arrived they gave us a home baked banana bread loaf and fresh home baked pastries from their shop!! As for the apartment, we stayed for one month and it was a home away from home. It is in a great location, 10 minute walk from a lovely beach and great restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed and even had a little home gym outside which we used daily, it has a sheltered parking spot and a little private patio. 100/10!! Thank you Manos and Klelia for an unforgettable trip.

Perfect spot for a longer stay in Chania. The beach is very close and so is the old town and other nice beaches on the west. Alkis was an extremely helpful host so would recommend him and all his listings.

Everything worked out very well. The technology and condition in the apartment were also impeccable. Britta greeted us personally with her husband and showed us everything in the apartment. She had sent us some links to restaurants and breakfast cafes in advance. These were very helpful The area also seemed to be safe and on Wednesdays there is a weekly market at the doorstep. The way to the city was very easy and easy to master. Excursions such as Balos Beach, Kourtaliotis Gorge, Lake Kournas and Elafonissi beach were also easily accessible by car. If we vacation in Chania again, we would love to stay with Britta again.

We had a wonderful stay at Yulia's place. The place was nice and clean. The terrace was spacy and the facilities good. Yulia was very quick to respond when we had some questions. The madresses and pillows could be softer but that will always be a matter of taste. We were very satisfied and would recommend Yulia and her place.

Really great apartment. Looked bigger in real life than the photos. Good location, felt like a relatively safe area and a 5-10 minute walk into the old town. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay in this beautiful apartment. The huge balcony has the most amazing view over the beautiful bay! You can watch the sunrise while eating a home cooked meal from up there😊! The bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom was nice and water pressure was great in the shower. A really lovely place. It’s a great base for exploring since parking is free on the street. It took us 20-25 minutes to walk to the city from the apartment. I would definitely stay here again in the future 👌🏼

The appartment was as at the photos Spyros has upload at the listing with everything needed even for a family with a little kid. Spyros was very responsive and helpful on whatever we asked for. Regarding the location, Nea Chora is the best neighborhood at Chania if someone needs to be close in walking distance to the city center and old harbor and needless to have a car to move around.

The place was very clean. Maria was always available. The washer didn’t work but she washed the cloths and we hung them out. It was a. 22 minute walk to old town harbor. Maria provided a lot of basics. Coffee, olive oil, sugar salt, breakfast cake and she even made us some excellent homemade local food. Do good! Thank you.

My boyfriend and I visited during Christmas time(2024). She had filled the apartment with Christmas lights and decorations, which after a long day of traveling, immediately put us in the holiday spirit. She was very easy to communicate with and after learning of my boyfriends love of pizza she provided us with a personalized list of the best pizzas around town. There was also a booklet in the apartment with a rundown of the city(history, restaurants, sightseeing, etc) which is helpful to anyone visiting from another country. Would definitely come back to Chania as well as this apartment! Thank you Katerina!

The apartment unit is beautiful, very modern, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We felt safe walking around. We rented a car and there were lots of free street parking available. John and Anastasia were very helpful and answered all our questions promptly which we appreciated very much. We had a wonderful stay in Chania and would highly recommend.

The apartment was everything the pictures and description promised. It is bright, spacious & including a large terrace that offers you an amazing view on the Λεφκά Όρη (White Mountains). It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and a 20 min walk will bring you to the old center. Car parking in the street has not been a problem at all. At my arrival Andonis welcomed me and showed me the loft. I stayed for one month and during that time he has been very responsive to any request I had. His family lives in the same building and are very warm hearted people. Especially Maria – Andonis’ mother – is a truly kind person not only sharing her deliciously homemade food but also telling me about Cretan life in earlier times. Do not hesitate to come to this place – it will surely be an unforgettable experience.
