Bungalow holiday rentals in Plainview

We had a great time! So close to the beach and multiple playgrounds for the baby! We really enjoyed our stay 🧡🍂🎃

Had an amazing time here and didn’t want to leave! Our favorites were the location (across the street from the beach) and hot tub. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - we never needed to buy coffee or spices for cooking.

You will be surprised to be able to see the sunrise from your bedroom, have cocktails on a little beach on the brackish Shrewsbury River with windsurfers trying their luck, walk to Bahr's seafood resto or Proving Ground tavern with good beer and food and views -- great location and quiet at night and interesting to watch clammers ride out in their little boats in the morning.

This is a beautiful, serene, super clean home and the surrounding area is incredible. Talai helped us feel right at home throughout our stay and did a great job addressing a few minor hiccups that occurred due to a storm right before we arrived. Based on these interactions as well as the lovely, thoughtful touches throughout the home, really made me feel like this is a place where people have invested in a unique and beautiful space they really care about. It really stood out amongst so many airbnbs that, while clean and well-appointed, can feel a bit sterile. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone ! A note to future visitors that the walk to the sand is 5 minutes and there is also a very long sandy beach to traverse, too. It was fine for us but it's something to know if you're not familiar with the area, which has a wide beach.

Perfect location for a Thanksgiving get away. Super close to the ocean and the little downtown area. Access to Morehead City and beautiful Beaufort is just minutes away. The house efficiently packs 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with a fully loaded kitchen. Beautiful sunsets and amazing ocean walks. Communication with Steve is a solid 10!!!

William was a wonderful host for our family members in town after we had to get them out abruptly from another stay due to a safety concern. He accommodated an early check in and early check out and was very kind in his communications. He even offered a military discount which we so very much appreciated after being out the money from the first stay. The place was larger than it looks from the outside, right by the water and nicely decorated. Backyard would have been great with pets. Very close to all local restaurants and boardwalk! If we have family in town again we will certainly rebook! Thank you again!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was spotless, very clean, beds were comfortable, it was exactly how it is depicted and described. I needed a place to decompress after my dad’s funeral and this was just the place. I traveled with my German Shepherd and we were able to take long walks on the beach right across the street. The host was very responsive to any questions I had and communicated when the place was ready early. Would totally recommend.

Andria was amazing! So responsive and really helped our family. The home was a short walk or drive to a beautiful beach. We went to a few of the restaurants and they were delicious. Loved the local playground for our toddler and COVA brewing was fun all times of day. The house was just like the photos, well equipped and the perfect getaway. Thank you Andria!

It was exactly as the picture appeared!! It was a super charming, quiet place for a quick girls trip to Tryon!

The Bungalow is very adorable and should be stayed at for a long weekend or when you have time to relax on the beautiful back patio. Unfortunately, I was only there 24 hours for a very packed weekend and wish I had more time to enjoy it. Hope to be back again!

I loved this bungalow. it was charming, located in a quiet neighborhood, and within 10 min walking distance of downtown. As the owners described in the instructions, you have to climb a ladder to get to the bed. But, the ladder felt secure, the bed was comfortable, and to me, it was all part of the bungalow charm.

Just spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Bugaboo. What a delightful house. I arrived late Wednesday night and quickly discovered there was no running water. With Thanksgiving being the next day, I assumed nothing could be done until Friday. However, much to my surprise, Rita and Elaine were right on it, knocking on the door early Thursday morning to let me know that water would be restored within hours. And it was! I was so impressed with the quick response and handling of the situation. Before checking out on Sunday, Elaine again visited and told me I didn’t have to rush to be out of the house at checkout time because no one was coming in that day. Again, pleasantly surprised and appreciative. The icing on the cake was that the host reimbursed me for one night’s stay because of the water situation even though I didn’t ask for it or expect it. I definitely plan to rent Bugaboo again. It’s clean, has nice furniture, a most comfortable bed, a great kitchen and a great location!

Our stay was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time. Check-in & check-out instructions were easy to follow and achieve. Angela was very friendly throughout the entire process. Location was great in relation to Asheville activities & yummy restaurants. However, the route to the house and neighborhood were a little odd. The house itself was very cute and homey.

Such a beautiful little bungalow nestled in a serene and peaceful horse farm! The screened in porch was amazing for taking in the beautiful mornings with a cup of coffee. Furniture was clean and comfortable, and the pull out bed was appreciated. Shower had very high water pressure--more than our own home! Nice and hot water as well. This bungalow is tucked away enough to be private, yet close enough to downtown Southern Pines to not be top far away from restaurants, shops and groceries. Melissa was prompt and friendly in responding, and is highly recommended! We will definitely return in the future when visiting family in the area.

Beth’s bungalow was a delight. Close to everything. She was a courteous host and provided a neat guide for downtown SP.

Joanna and Jamie were awesome hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed. We were there during the Asheville flood, and Joanna offered for us to eat with their family, to insure we had food and supplies. Also the place was amazingly stocked. You can just show up with your clothes, everything else is there.
