We spent 10 fabulous days at Giovanna's house. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a lovely pool. The house is very spacious and beautifully furnished, it was superb. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The house is very well equipped, it had everything we needed and more. We used the BBQ's most evenings, eating outside & enjoying the sunsets. We bought great local produce from the local butcher who was very friendly & helpful. You can get most supplies from the local shop in the village including charcoal. The house was a good base to visit the area including Ragusa, Noto, Modica, Scicli, Ortigia & Marzamemi which can all be reached in approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. We travelled a little further to visit the amazing mosaics at Villa Romana del Casale. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so memorable and special. We were very sad to leave and can't wait to return. Thank you Giovanna and Carmelo!

We had the most amazing time staying in Vincenzo’s place! Even before arriving, he was super proactive and answered all our questions regarding the house and gave great recommendations of small towns around to visit. The house had everything you need, the fireplace was charming and was great to relax there in the evening. As it was winter, it was a shame we couldn’t make use of the beautiful terrace but would be stunning in the warmer months. Would 100% recommend Vincenzo and the house for anyone wanting a rustic, cozy and relaxing stay in a well connected part of the Scicilian countryside. Grazie mille!

Stella is the most helpful host in all of airbnb, she helped us with all her heart in all things. 5 is too little for her, she's a lot more. He was very active, always available and always extremely polite. Thanks again Stella for everything. The apartment was cozy, cozy, extremely clean, and the location was perfect. The sheets were very fresh and clean. The grocery store was very close, a few stairs away. The neighborhood was cozy with cats and the neighbors were friendly. Lovely experience.
