Gaetano was impeccable. She explained everything perfectly and always helped us. The house was beautiful, nestled in the mountain by a river. It was a small house, but with everything you need: a very functional kitchen, a well-equipped bathroom and a comfortable bed. Every detail was thought out early, and we felt right at home. Outside there was a small garden where you could sit and listen to the sound of the river water. I recommend this experience to anyone who wants to spend time away from the city, in a place to reconnect with nature and tranquility.

Great stay in Gioviano. My kids loved it as well, especially the cats that walked around the town. Directions to find the place were spot on, as well as host communication.

I chose this apartment as my accommodation during Lucca Comics week. Despite the distance from the center of Lucca, it is in a much cheaper and picturesque area. I was pleasantly surprised by the availability and kindness of the co-host who waited for us until late for check-in and accompanied us along the medieval streets of this quiet village. The interiors are used to the fullest despite the small size, not to mention the fact that there is everything you need: the kitchen is well equipped with tools; in the room blankets and pillows of various types to choose from; for the bathroom towels and towels available; washing machine and fireplace. We did not visit the village and its surroundings because our schedule was different, but I am sure that if I were to return nearby for a peaceful and serene stay (or, why not?, for the next Lucca Comics) I would choose Vittorio's House again.
