Monthly Rentals in Petenwell Lake

Place was tastefully decorated, beds were extremely comfy and kitchen was well stocked. That being said, I did have an issue with my overall reservation. I booked it 1 week ahead and then almost my entire family all got Influenza A the day we were supposed to arrive. My Mom was taken to emergency room for the same. They would not allow me to cancel or change my dates. Offered me a $450 credit after I paid a$1,100.00 for 2 days stay. And would not refund any of the very high $225.00 cleaning fee. So my sister and I ended up going instead of the 7 people that were supposed to go. They only had to clean 2 beds and 1 bathroom instead of 4 beds and 2 bathrooms. We were not even there for 24 hours. I know it's an income for them, but have a heart and be kind to those that you serve. You are in the service industry when you place your home on AirBnB but life happens and circumstances change. Disappointed that the fireplace did not work during 23degree temps. This was not noted prior.

We had a lovely time. Enjoyed the beautiful snowy view and enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace. Everything was comfy and cozy. We will definitely be returning.

Marta is an extremely responsive and friendly host. The property was in exceptional condition, clean and everything worked as described. All questions were answered with a positive attitude and very quickly. I would highly recommend Little Valley and Marta for your stay in the Petenwell area.

PHENOMENAL sunset views over the lake (during my Nov-Dec stay). Excellent wi-fi, modern appliances and overall a nice modern feel to both the interior and exterior of the condo. Nearby city of Wisconsin Rapids has a Walmart, a Home Depot, and an Aldi. There is a Polish deli shop called J B Deli in the nearby village of Necedah, which has an excellent array of dumplings for sale. There is also a Polish gas station on the intersection of County Road Z and WI-21, which also has some dumplings for sale, sweets, and other things. Great place overall.
