Loved my stay at the Salty Crib! I have deep roots in Nova Scotia so I don’t mind things like a slight whiff of sulphur in the water…at the end of a dry summer, I’m glad to have enough water, period. (Which there was.) Melissa’s place was comfortable, incredibly quiet and in a beautiful location. I stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave! Loved my daily swim a half-hour walk down the road at Feltzen South Beach. This was the perfect rustic retreat with an ocean view. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived feeling exhausted after a long drive from the USA. But, what a great place to land in Nova Scotia! I slept like a baby in a very comfy bed. The surroundings are beautiful--tucked amidst trees and overlooking the waters of La Have river- I found a little piece of paradise here. The cottage itself is charming. A well stocked kitchen including treats from the La Have bakery. Can't resist that! Joe is such a friendly and kind host. I appreciated that he was always quick to respond to any questions. He can tell you about all the sights and restaurants in the area. My favorite was Cresent Beach about a 15 minute drive--what a place to walk your dog and experience the ocean. I highly recommend staying here!

I stayed only for one night but i wish that I could stayed a few days just to relaxe, read a book and enjoy. Kate’s appartement is just wonderful. Clean like I rarely seen. Plus; the decoration is so carefully spread out, that it adds cleanliness to the visual. Kate deserves that I share with you the visual and soothing beauty of her apartment. Thanks for sharing that beautiful nest Kate. I recommend 200%
