If you're looking for a peaceful cottage right on the lake, this is it! The location was ideal and we got so much use out of the provided sleds and long walks on the frozen lake. The hosts are very organized and made everything crystal clear. One of our favorite activities we did came from their list of recommendations! We got to see some faint Northern Lights, on a clearer day I think this location is far enough from the city to see them well. Very happy with our choice to stay here.

Wonderful stay in Lapland and the apartment is warm, clean and very functional. Niina and Heini are adorable and very responsive if you have any problems or questions. Clean accommodation in the Citycenter of Rovaniemi. 5 minutes from the bus station and the Shopping Mall. Juha was a very friendly host. He always answered quick and had a lot of recommendations for us.

Riverside Dream really lived up to it's name, such a beautiful, clean home with stunning views in the perfect location! Joni-Arttu was extremely responsive and friendly, making the booking, check in and stay so smooth. The property is in a prime location, 10- 20 minutes from most attractions and the airport. We were easily able to book local taxis to and from the home. Such a spacious property that was super clean and decorated for Christmas with a lovely Christmas tree and inviting candles/lights. We (a family of 4) enjoyed the grill hut and sauna and were lucky to witness the Northern Lights from the garden! Our boys appreciated the children's games and the sledges. The house is simply fantastic and perfect. The location is beautifully situated on the (frozen) lake with great views. In winter you are right on the cross-country ski trail for a round of cross-country skiing or for a nice walk. In the evening you can look at the northern lights virtually from the sofa or you walk a few meters to the frozen lake. The house is very well furnished and exceptionally well equipped. We felt right at home and the house had everything we needed. The jacuzzi and sauna made the house perfect for us. We were 9th and the house is also highly recommended for a large group.

Had a very pleasant stay. The views are amazing and the hot tub was perfect! The house is very clean and well built. It’s a short 30 minute drive from the city which also means wonderful night sky without any light pollution. Felt like locals during our stay here!

We recently stayed in Minnas house and it was just perfect. The house is beautiful inside and is very cozy and homely. It has fantastic views out the back looking over the frozen lake and there is a little hill down to the lake which the kids used for sledding (Minna had lots of sleighs left outside for the kids to use which was very kind). The location is great as its in a little quite neighborhood in nature but also only a short drive to shops and the centre. Minna is a great host and is very reachable and quick to answer any questions. Thanks for having us.

The accommodation was super nice. We were 4 friends and spent a week there. The peace and solitude made the house unique. But you definitely need a car! The kitchen was super well equipped with a toaster, coffee machine, oven and little things like oil, flour, sugar and tea. So really perfect! The fireplace in the evening made everything nice and cozy. But the highlight was that we could see the Northern Lights from the house and only had to drive 5 minutes to see the whole sky full of the lights! We would come back again and again! :)

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

This place is from heaven… We were lucky to be Natalia’s guests. The cozy lake house was amazing and every little detail was well thought. We walked on the lake with the snowshoes provided, enjoyed the saunas (yes, you can even choose which one to use), made fires and grilled food. We had the whole lake view to ourselves and enjoyed the tranquility. You can enjoy this place as a couple or as a group. Natalia was very friendly and answered all my questions in minutes!! Even the most stupid ones —if you’re visiting from a warmer climate you might also have tons of questions but don’t worry. Also be aware of the road, it has hard conditions but definitely worth it. Many thanks to Natalia for sharing their house with us and giving us the opportunity to peek through the Finnish lifestyle.

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

The accommodation was perfect for our stay in Rovaniemi. The flat is very central and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The flat is furnished to a very high standard and you immediately feel at home. I can really recommend it! Leena is a great host and was always easy to contact.

It was great! The apartment is super central, you can do a lot on foot. It is modern and has everything you need.

Very friendly host, we were hosted well. Asko took the time to explain how the different amenities in the accommodation worked and gave us several tips to make the most of our stay.

This really was one of the best Airbnb stays we have ever had. Pentti was really friendly and helped us a lot too. He told me many things about Lapland, Finland and his special work. It made the house feel like our home. Highly recommended. I’m sure you all will like it.

Anssi's place was perfect for us. A peaceful condominium and everything you need was found in the apartment. The apartment was spacious, tidy, and as pictured. The location was a convenient drive from Levi and Ylläs. There was a parking spot for the car. Communication with Anssi went well and the apartment had good instructions. We'd love to stay at Anssi's place again. Recommended!
