Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large sloping plot on the shore of the clean Storträsk lake. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
