The cottage is perfect for holidays with a fully equipped kitchen, lots of wood for the fire, very cosy and quiet, set in a beautiful location. It couldn’t be better.

The house was everything we wanted for a couple of days. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Maybole Chippy next door was as good as advertised. The ice cream was especially good. Carrie left plenty of local information including leaflets describing walks nearby. We chose Loch Doon which we would definitely recommend.

we have previously stayed here as it's affordable, clean and as described. Vanilla is a great host and if there are any issues she does her best to sort these out efficiently. I would recommend staying at vanillas place.

Our second visit to this property and it did not disappoint. It was lovely to arrive to a warm, cozy house on a cold evening. The house was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The location is great, within walking distance of the beach and the town.
