Safar was a wonderful host and genuinely went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. He was incredibly helpful and did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room itself was as described, clean and the kitchen is very good as we did lots of cooking. The outside area is great to relax and there is a roof for Yoga. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The area itself is peaceful and away from the hustle and business of the cliff. There is a really great shop nearby that has everything you’d likely need.

The place was fantastic! The open terrace was where we spent most of the time as family. Shaun is an amazing host! He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. He was there at 2 am to make sure we get to his place easily and settle down comfortably. It’s a nice place surrounded by homes — it’s gives a feeling of belonging if someone likes village setting. Quite near to the Varkala North cliff, yet quite distant to give a feel of staying in a beach town village. The place reflects Shaun’s passion for everything travel. Highly recommend if someone is looking for a homely accommodation in a nice quaint surroundings.

Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is unbeatable—just step outside the gate, and you're right on the beach. The views were breathtaking, and the sound of the waves made for a relaxing atmosphere. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beachfront getaway!

We loved our stay here. Perfect little apartment, tucked away from all the noise in beautiful natural surroundings. Very short walk to the beach. Suji who looked after us was so kind and helpful. We cannot wait to be back.

I wasn’t prepared for how much I enjoyed staying at Samjana’s place. She’s an architect and designed the whole building herself. From the polished brick floors feeling delightful on my bare feet to the open balconies and kitchen, to waking up with an incredible view of the jungle birds and animals, we loved the balance between modern design and natural beauty. With Samjana’s internet booster, I was also able to work comfortably there. And we found delicious restaurants and friendly fruit & veg vendors at the junction within walking distance. We’re grateful for Samjana creating this place and sharing it with us. 🙏🏼

It was actually a very good stay, we both enjoyed very much and it was peaceful, and the surroundings where good. Everything provided by the host was very well appreciated, and the main part of the stay was, the breakfast they provided was tasty and it was like a homely feel.
