We spent 4 peaceful nights at Viraam by Lagom Stay, and it truly felt like a hidden sanctuary in the mountains. Tucked away from the chaos of Mall Road and Manali, this place offers the kind of calm that’s hard to find—complete silence, fresh mountain air, and stunning panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and lush greenery right from your window. Reaching the property is a bit of an adventure—the road was under construction during our visit, and the path to the stay is little cramped. But once you arrive and take in that view, all of it fades away. It is worth it. The space itself is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. What really made our stay memorable was the warm hospitality. The caretaker, Amit, and his wife went above and beyond for us. From homemade breakfasts to evening meals, everything they served was delicious and comforting. If you're looking to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature, this is the place. Perfect for families and group of friends.

A very pretty place, 2 rooms and a great hall with a fireplace, 5km from mall road and u get 2w to rent right outside. 10/10, clean, super soft beds and extra blankets, and full time hot water at every sink

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rajendra Ji’s place! He and his wife were such warm and welcoming hosts, making us feel completely at home. The homemade food was not only delicious but also so affordable,we couldn't have asked for better! A special mention for the milk they served us; I usually don’t drink milk without Bournvita, but this one was so fresh and tasty that I loved it just as it was! Their kindness and hospitality were truly unmatched. They were always polite and caring, making sure we had everything we needed. The friendly dogs on the property added to the charm, making the experience even more delightful. And the location? Absolutely breathtaking! Words simply can’t do justice to the beauty of the surroundings. To top it all off, the people in the area were incredibly warm and friendly, adding to the overall homely vibe of the place. If you’re looking for a stay that feels like home with amazing food, serene views, and heartwarming hospitality this place to be💖

Beas view Kullu is one of the most beautiful stays I’ve had. The interiors are beautiful, the stay has all the necessary amenities and it’s a lavish space. The view from the balcony is pristine. Yashpal ji and Kiran ji were the most wonderful hosts, very polite and so prompt every time we needed help. Their recommendations to get around town were also very helpful. The stay is at a steep incline from the main road, so walking is next to impossible and getting there by vehicle is the only option. But this is a minor issue since vehicles are easily available and the quality of the stay compensates for it. They also offer longer stays for wfh. I would definitely recommend this stay to people who are visiting Kullu.

Nice place to stay and enjoy with your family. We were 4 families and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I must compliment Rinku’s, the care taker and his team who took extra care of us. Food was sumptuous and you don’t even feel like going out to any restaurant

It is a very beautiful place to stay with very peaceful neighbourhood with mesmerising views from room as seen in the pictures. The property is very well maintained and meant for someone who is looking to live at a peaceful space and surrounding instead of super commercialised area of manali Shoutout to the host utkarsh for being super responsive even at very early hour of the day and helping us with local recommendations and contacts which made our trip easy to plan. I myself is a host and after staying at this property i will definitely recommend this to everyone as he met all the standards that are needed for a memorable and peaceful stay, i will definitely comeback to stay here again!

I really liked the location of this place. It's 20 kms before main Manali market etc so if you're goal is to see Manali then this might be a bit far unless you have your own car. We weren't really interested in Mall road and our main goal was to drive to Atal tunnel and Keylong the next morning. So for a night's stay it was perfect. Surrounded by lots of green I liked the quiet ambience here. I am not sure how the other rooms were but we booked a villa that had a hall and 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 on the first floor. Both rooms had attached bathrooms. The campus also had some random swings that gave us 5 mins of adventure lol. Food taste was decent (some may not like it but if you're not a food drama queen you'll survive) P.S. For those worried by the word "Satvika" in the name - they do have non veg food :)

Great stay with family and kids; very helpful staff; lots of friendly pet dogs; apple orchard next door where we found 2 white donkeys every day coming for night stay; provision for campfire, lots of sunlight coming in; persimmon tree laden with fruits; pine trees in the complex and kids collected lots of cones; functional kitchen; and everything inside was great - bathrooms, bedrooms, all good! great experience overall

Our family had a fantastic stay at Mosum Retreat in Manali! The property was clean, well-maintained, and provided a peaceful escape from the city. The hosts were warm and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, cozy, and offered breathtaking views of the mountains. Though the location is a bit off the beaten path, once you settle in, it feels surreal – truly a perfect getaway. We loved cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen, making home-cooked meals while enjoying the serene surroundings. There were also indoor games like chess, snakes and ladders, Jenga puzzles that kept us all entertained and provided quality family time. The outdoor spaces were great for the kids to explore. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend Mosum Retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay in Manali. Can’t wait to return!

A huge shoutout to Seema ma’am and her entire family (the kiddos – Joy n Abhinav and of course Monica) for making us feel so incredibly welcome. First, let's talk about the food! Breakfast was a delightful surprise every morning, filled with delicious fun sandwiches, perfectly spiced aloo parathas and fresh brews (tea lovers – rejoice). But lunch and dinner were next-level! From fluffy chapatis, to lip smacking dals/mix veg that had us wanting more n more! The hospitality goes beyond the food! The cottage itself is a haven of beauty, perfectly maintained and bathed in the warm glow of the morning sunrise. And let's not forget - Maggie and Aslan, the friendliest Labs you'll ever meet. The peaceful area was perfect for our daily workout routines, and the surroundings offering plenty to explore. We found ourselves getting happily "stuck" at and around the cottage. Seema ma’am and her family go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a wonderful experience.

If you're looking for a place that feels like a warm hug in the mountains, The Lazy and Slow is it. Tucked away in the peaceful village near Naggar, this cozy spot offers the perfect mix of comfort, creativity, and calm. The vibe is exactly what the name suggests – slow-paced, soulful, and beautifully unhurried. Ayush is less of a host and more of soul finder over here. His guidance up there (for hidden spots, local food, small hikes) will never fail your expectations. The entire crew (Rohit, CM and Avinash) is very approachable, friendly and makes you feel home. And wait... meet Lazy, Mine and Jimmy when you are there... they will help you slow down your pace as well.. Overall... brilliant hideout in the hills. will keep coming.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vedansh and Priya's Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it enough. Tucked away in a picturesque hilly location, the place is mesmerising. From the moment we arrived, Vedansh and Priya made us feel right at home with their hospitality and warmth. The accommodation was beautiful, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The stunning views from the room and attic were the cherry on top, making every morning feel like a dream. The location itself is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of touristy hills. We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails, exploring the breathtaking scenery, and watching sunrises and sunsets. Vedansh and Priya shared lots of insightful tips which made our stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks to them for going out of their way and dropping us at Manali in their own vehicle, when our driver stood us up. Hope to visit them again soon. Truly a hidden gem in the hills! Our stay at North was truly special. The cabin we stayed in was built with love and felt like a museum in itself, showcasing traditional craftsmanship and a deep connection to the local culture. The hospitality was exceptional, and we were welcomed with warmth. The food was simple and authentic giving us a true taste of Himachali flavors.
