Monthly Rentals in Palheiros

I spent 4 days at Celeste's place and it was a feast for the senses. Not only is it in a beautiful location, but the house is imaginatively decorated with old repurposed items. As other guests have observed, one could spend days just wandering around looking at her creations. If you are musically-inclined then you are in for a treat. There is a stream-fed plunge pool in the garden, so if you are into cold water dips then you will also love it. There is also a beautiful stream at the bottom of the valley with more opportunities for bathing. If you like nature and being in a quiet, peaceful environment, then this is the place for you. Take good boots if you stay in winter.

The Millhouse was a perfect start to our vacation, a cozy fire welcomed us after a long journey and the dinner we requested was outstanding! The location is serene and beautiful, our hosts Francisca and Enrique took really good care of us. Place is true to pictures and description and we couldn't ask for anything more!

We needed a secluded enough place to work in peace and walk in the countryside. It was perfect for us. It is a rural area, with many forest paths, and marked trails around Ribeira or Boticas. A big thank you to Jean's uncle and aunt, who were lovely.

we enjoyed our stay immensely. We chose the location for the tranquility (avoiding the fireworks); the house is perfectly suitable for that. Larger supermarkets are half an hour's drive away, but the village itself offers everything you need (also fantastic hospitality). Our hosts were perfect for us: helpful, quick and friendly in everything. We stayed there for more than two months but that time has flown by, thank you Filomena and David!
