Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Paihia

Wow! Jubilee Eco Retreat is amazing. Silv and Steve are wonderful hosts. They met us on arrival and had some treats waiting for us. We were able to use the ATV to get up to the absolutely stunning cabin. Itʻs peaceful, quiet and private. Definitely a retreat from the business of our daily lives. The cabin had everything we needed so much that we didnʻt want to leave. We cooked pizza one night, grilled another night and took in the sunset with a glass of wine and a soak in the hot tub. If youʻre looking for a respite to relax with amazing hosts, this is the place. We canʻt wait to return. Thanks Silv and Steve!

Gorgeous home in a gorgeous setting. Felt so homey but also so novel! We had an amazing time exploring the area and also relaxing with the view from the living room. The gardens were spectacular and we even heard kiwis throughout the night! Very communicative and accommodating hosts, as well. Would highly recommend this beautiful stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this home. Everything was immaculate, modern and had everything we needed and more. The kids room had toys and story books which was appreciated as we had a 1.5 year old. There were plenty of games and puzzles which provided hours of fun for everyone. It’s close to Paihia and even closer to main supermarket which was convenient. The hosts were very helpful and polite. The home was very thoughtful and considerate to guests. We appreciated the stay :)

Elaine's Airbnb was spacious, clean and very tidy. Both bathrooms were clean and included plenty of toiletries, body wash, shampoo/cond and Towels The back deck is huge with an awesome view of the Hokianga harbour and the sand dunes. With the added bonus of a small downhill walkway which gives quick access to the beach. There is also a tap and outdoor shower for easy sand removal after a swim. The house is modern and has all the cutlery, accessories and features you could ask for, the photos do not do it justice. We recently spent 6 days there in January (peak season) so even though it wasn't the cheapest accommodation around, it was well worth the price for the quality and location of the house. Personal feedback: -Though wi-fi isn't available, it would be advantageous to have especially for those from overseas who need to check emails etc. -The house heats up and some pedestal fans in the rooms would be a good touch -There are lots of confusing light switches everywhere

Perfect place to stay in the perfect location!

Michaela and Dan’s beautiful house was great for our three day stay (family group of four couples and two young children). Conveniently close to Paihia and also fully equipped with everything we needed plus extra touches to make us feel at home.

Wonderful private studio overlooking the Tamaterau Bay. A very peaceful location to chill outside and enjoy a sunrise or sunset. Friendly hosts too. Would highly recommend.

Our group of four had a great time at Peter and Jacqueline’s place and would definitely recommend it to others. The view was amazing (all the bedrooms had water views!). They were so helpful and the two resident cats were charming little co-hosts. We also enjoyed the spa on the upstairs deck—a great way to relax after a day of touring.

A very convenient location and beautifully appointed apartment. The stairs are very steep - particularly with a suitcase (not suitable for an elderly person) but the view across to the islands was well worth it!

Had a wonderful stay here with our mother in law. Absolutely sensational views of water activities and the wharf near by to do a day trip to russell and catch many of the day tours without having to drive and find a park. The place was clean and tidy on arrival. Bedrooms and bathrooms are up a flight of stairs so accessibility would be a problem. The main bed was soft but that seems to be a thing here in Auckland- we like medium to hard with bad backs. Otherwise loved the place, Paihia and the bay of islands with the very best intention of returning. 🙂

Unit was impeccable and just like a home away from home, with everything thought of...right down to a first aid kit and hair straighteners my wife used as she forgot hers!

We had a comfortable and enjoyable couple of days at Doubtless Bay retreat. Laura’s place is very liveable for a holiday: spacious, light and open to the outdoors, easy access to the beach and close to activities and attractions. It is a good find in the Northland region and from where to base yourself to explore the area.

A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

Having toured around the local area, I think that Gavin’s place must be the most charming, private and romantic place to stay in the Bay of Islands. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and we felt privileged to be guests there. The kitchen is superbly appointed and kitted out, and we enjoyed cooking on the BBQ on the deck overlooking the yacht harbour. A million thanks for sharing your special place with us, Gavin!

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

Linda is a lovely host, I mentioned it was my partner's birthday (that is why we were staying) and she organised balloons, chocolates & there was an awesome welcome bottle of bubbles for us to share too when we arrived. Also, it's in a great location, we were right across from the beach. Nice place to go and reset! Thanks for having us.

We loved our stay! Lovely clean apartment, located in a quiet spot with a view of the harbour. Super comfortable bed with quality linen. It was the perfect relaxing break that we needed. And our pooch 🐶 had the best holiday too. Thank you Vicki!
