This property was quiet, gorgeous and comfortable, the hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. This is the perfect place to relax and have as a home base for exploring the area.

This is an outstandingly beautiful place to stay. The views are amazing, the pool and the hot tube are clean and inviting, and it is incredibly peaceful. It is a wonderful place to have a barbeque on the deck and eat. The room had some nice touches, like some filter coffee, some museli as well as the usual tea and coffee sachets. The beds are amazingly comfortable, and everything is spotlessly clean. Lori is a lovely person who is very kind, and made sure that we always had what we needed. It is hard to imagine a better place than Lori's, and I totally recommend it to everyone.

Really enjoyed my time at the lodge. Beautifully secluded in the mountains with indescribable views! Kristina explained everything to me in advance and left no question unanswered to make you feel right at home. Thank you (:

A lovely place to stay in Opua. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our vehicle overnight while we rode the Twin Coast Cycle Way. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to our friends and family.

We had an absolutely gorgeous stay at this property. I wish we were there for more than one night! The hosts were so friendly and we were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and comfort of our cottage. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt right at home. The views, especially from the shared pool and spa area are unbeatable. We also loved feeding the sheep who live on the property! I highly recommend booking as it was one of the highlights of our 3-weeks in New Zealand.

This was a lovely clean hotel with a welcoming down to earth owner Ron who communicates well. the spot we had looked across at the wharf the shared deck didn't matter gave it character. we had nespresso from communal kitchen which was a treat. Do take ear plugs in case fishing club across the road has a party again although it was a 100th year celebration they don't come around often so I suspect it's not a regular. carpet is vintage, older but clean simailr the bathroom but all else beautiful and neat, comfortable 😀. I could have stayed here longer. this place was just what we needed for our friends 50th in Kaeo. it's worthwhile
