Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Outer Banks

We loved our stay at the beach! We even got to view the northern lights from the deck. Pretty close walk to the beach. Lots of kitchen supplies, pet friendly - although our dog stayed at home this time. We love the location and would like to stay again. Marsha, was a very responsive host and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend stay at Ohana. The house was perfect for the adults and my granddaughters. The kitchen had all that we needed to have Thanksgiving dinner. Brandon was a good host, responsive to questions and flexible with our requests. Enjoyed our stay at Ohana.

Anchors away was Awesome! Loved the neighborhood atmosphere. The Halloween decorations in the neighborhood were cool! Every evening had the most beautiful Sunsets. The house is Awesome! King size bed and large shower get 10 stars from me. I will definitely book again. Caitlin was great and answered all my questions. Thanks for everything.

We absolutely loved Remember Bark When! Very clean and felt so comfortable! The amenities were awesome! I stayed in the jacuzzi! My fur babies loved the back yard and my husband loved the pool table. Host was absolutely fantastic and quick to respond! We’ll definitely be back!

Have been going to OBX for 47 yrs and this location is ideal - great beach access, grocery is walkable. The house has everything you need. We will stay again + recommend it to friends. Also, the dyer wouldn't work but Gia had it taken care of immediately!! Impressive

My family and I stayed at Carrie’s place for the weekend and had the best experience. Carrie communicated proactively and was very accommodating. Her place was clean and had more than enough supplies and amenities for us. The description and pictures were exactly the same as the place. Carrie intentionally curated the apartment with the furniture pieces and decor. My family stayed during the winter time with some rain so we did not get to enjoy the backyard and outside portion of the rental. However, the backyard was huge and a private area just for us. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (minus the neighbor’s dog who barked occasionally, which she can’t control). We had a phenomenal stay and would highly recommend Carrie’s place to anyone. Thank you for your hospitality!

I have been visiting the OBX for 20 years now and this is by far the best house that I have ever stayed in. First, it is just a wonderful house in a great location. 3 minute walk to beach and 3 minutes from hiking trails in Nags Head Woods. Staying at Annette and Greg’s place is like being at home. However, the back porch makes the place even better. This private porch area was a great place to wind down and relax in the evening. I cannot rate this house or the hosts any higher. Thanks for a great week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host, Nicki, was wonderful to work with. She was very informative, helpful and quick to respond with any questions that we had. The home and surroundings were beautiful. The house was extremely clean, open and inviting and the views from the property and grounds were absolutely stunning. We will definitely consider future stays with Nicki and even possibly at this home again in the future.

Great overall place even in the off season. If traveling there at night, it can a little difficult due to how dark it is without much street light. Also, be mindful that there are three flights of stairs. Kitchen and main area is at the top floor. So lots of up and down. To unload, etc. otherwise, the house was fully stocked with all the essentials to live; plenty of cookware, utensils, plates, and drink ware as well as serving trays. Towels were provided, lots of amenities, even a poolside fridge to have your beverages. We held a men’s retreat of 10 people and was able to completely accommodate. Plenty of bathrooms and showers for everyone.

Excellent beach getaway on a quiet street with an easy walk to the beach. A quick walk from a local market with everything needed. House was clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Grill was clean and plenty of gas. Pool was clean and private. Plenty of room for parking. Balcony and porch made for excellent evenings. Beach access is close and private. Everything was clean and ready to go when we go there. Hoses and outdoor faucets made cleanoff beach stuff and dogs easy. Will definitely look to rebook in the future.

Shawn was a good host and answered all my questions very fast and gave us accommodations. The place was very clean, perfect for our family and our dog! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We had a wonderful time in OBX at Stones Throw for a quick getaway! Shane was so wonderful and responsive from the time we booked until we left. We loved the location and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful week here in December! The house is exactly as pictured, and the heated pool was a definite plus this time of year. We really appreciated all the detailed instructions around the house as well. The location was perfect for us…very close to the beach and the Ocracoke ferry. James responded quickly to the minor questions we had. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting a peaceful Outer Banks getaway.

We love this place because it was so clean! I don’t generally relax much while on vacation because I’m always worried about cleanliness. We’ve been coming to the OBX for 18 years and this is the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. Even the carpet and couch were cleaned before we got there. If you’re a clean freak you will not be disappointed here! The pool was amazing! The weather wasn’t super pool friendly while we were there but there was also a hot tub that my teen enjoyed greatly. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your place for the last few days!

Gray and Alison’s place was great! The backyard was our favorite place, it was clean, well furnished, and has a beautiful pool. The dogs loved running around the yard! The house was clean, well organized, and comfortable. The house is a terrific, safe location with easy access to anything you need or want. Yard is well manicured and really peaceful. Would definitely rent again.

Loved everything about this home. Perfect for us to relax and enjoy all that the Outer Banks has to offer. Great location all around. Beautiful walk to the sound to watch the sunsets. Pet Friendly homes are hard to find sometimes and this one fit us very well with a nice size yard for our little one to enjoy. Would def recommend and would books again!

This cottage was the perfect place for some time away from the city. It was perfect walking distance to the ocean and the neighborhood is beautiful.

Jason's place was a great location for us. Our friends that we were visiting lived in the same neighborhood, so very convenient! It is also right off the Croatan Highway, which made it very convenient to get to all the places we love to visit! We love that it was pet-friendly because we prefer to bring our elderly dog on trips with us rather than board him. The space was open, airy, and comfortable. I forgot our dogs raised food and water bowl and they actually had one that we used for him. It had all of the basic necessities that you might typically forget when traveling - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, beach towels, etc. We enjoyed our stay will definitely be back!

what a beautiful place. the 4 cottages are perfect for a large family gathering while still allowing independence. they cottages are newly renovated and the outdoor showers are must. they have fenced area for your job to play and that is priceless in this day and age. the close proximity to EVERYTHING is amazing and makes for quick trips out. the host were extremely professional and responded quickly. I cannot wait to stay here again.

We had a great stay. The fenced in back yard was wonderful with our dogs and was a peaceful place to sip our morning coffee.

This is my third time staying at Barb's and each time it does not disappoint. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood; always feel safe. Barb's is the best and in my opinion only place to stay when visiting OBX. Perfectly located to shops and restaurants in less than 5 minutes, yet serene as it backs up to the state park. The house has all the amenities you need for a perfect stay. It feels like you are home. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. You wont find a better place to stay in OBX.

Great spot. Quiet for winding down for the night. Yet close enough to the bright spots of OBX - beach, restaurants, etc. Would definitely return.

Took my wife on our 1st trip w/o kids in 17 years. This was a great place to get away. Quiet comfortable and clean. The location is great. We took advantage of the bikes and explored the beautiful Wright Brothers Park that was an easy ride thanks to the walking/Biking trail. We also walked to the closest beach access and then strolled up the beach to the nearby Avalon Pier for lunch. It is a conveniently central location that allowed us to explore the rest of OBX w/o getting to far away. Our host was very responsive, and quickly addressed every inquiry we had. We were able to have the stress free vacation we needed.
