Hilary and Peter were perfect hosts. Friendly and informative. Woodpecker cottage was clean, warm, comfortable and peaceful. A great place to stay to get away from it all. Our dogs loved the garden and paddock.

What a lovely stay in the countryside! The hosts Julie and Paul were incredibly welcoming and communicative before and during our stay. The place was very clean and pretty and, the patio was such a great place to relax after a day out in the Lakes. The kitchen facilities made it easy to cook our own meals in the evening too.

Beautiful quiet little get away! Sara put out some lovely added extras for us and the dog which was so thoughtful! Very cosy with a great a peaceful view! Bed was comfy and loved the decor! There was everything you needed and more!
