Very cute old farmhouse with just the right amount of upgrades to make it comfortable without losing charm. Good location close to East Burke. It snowed for our Thanksgiving stay making the place super cozy (but we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace). Bathrooms are huge!

We Stayed at James and Nella's place for the second year in a row. It is a cozy old farmhouse with a spectacular view. We are Nordic skiers and this was 15 minutes from Craftsbury outdoor center. James and Nella are great hosts. We found them to be very responsive.

Perfect spot to reconnect with yourself, your partner and nature. It’s remote, isolated, but at the same you have all the amenities you need to have the perfect stay. Me and my husband went in winter, everything was white and covered with snow, just beautiful! My dog had a blast playing with the snow, and we enjoyed so much the sauna and just being able to relax far from the noisy city.

Ben & Laura were very accommodating. Excellent communication on their part. Home was very tidy and clean for the most part, the caretaker was non responsive. Ben and laura however, answered any messages and calls nearly immediately, and took care of any issues. The home is in an excellent location, modern, airy, and well apointed. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you hosts. Would definitely return here.

It’s a wonderful cozy home! It had no problem accommodating 8 people, with enough room for people to have their own beds as well. I will say the pictures don’t do it justice! The place is much cozier and decorated than the pictures make it seem!

Lynn gets it! Dogs are family, and as avid skiiers, fitting in a good ski day while not staying away from home too long is always a challenge. But this was an amazing solution! We felt comfortable leaving them there and enjoyed visiting them between laps -- you can't get a more convenient spot! The dogs were comfortable too, I set up my Blink cameras so I could check them from the lifts and they were always napping in the hall in their beds. We loved the view, proximity to the lifts and restaurants, and the convenience of the keypad and ski closet, and settling down by the cozy fire at night. I wish our stay was longer!

We had a great stay at this chalet! Spacious enough for our two families and just as described. Great location for ski days at Jay Peak! We'll be back!

The cabin was spotless, private, and in great location. We enjoyed skiing during the day and cooking ours dinner at the cabin. This was a relaxing getaway for all.

Unmatched location for ski in/ski out - feels like your family’s vacation home that’s seen multiple generations (it has for our family)! Be aware though - you definitely need 4-wheel drive to get up if there’s snow! Thankfully the kind woman in the base lodge loaned us her vehicle to get up the first day before our 4-wheel SUV made it up the next! Can’t wait to return next year!

We loved Vermont and our stay. Hardwick was a lovely town and we enjoyed getting breakfast and coffee at Front Seat every morning (per Ann’s suggestion). The locals were so kind! Ann checked on us to make sure we were warm enough and even left us some apple cider to enjoy! She had plenty of recommendations for us. We got to enjoy the fall colors of Vermont, and are already talking about our next trip back!

We keep coming back to this lovely spot, in part, to John and his staff for being friendly, welcoming & helpful with hints to enjoy our stay. And the view!

Thank you for a great stay! The cottage is terrific! We cooked in each night and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything that we needed - sharp knives, cutting boards, good pots and pans, and even bakeware. Great set up with the two arms chairs in front of the wood stove, and the table and chairs on the first floor with the kitchen. We had great meals at the table and it was the perfect set up for board games. Upstairs the bedroom and front room (which we used as a second bedroom) gave plenty of space for the three of us. In order to get the front room warm you really need to keep the bedroom door open. The house heats up well, which was great for a snowstorm weekend in VT! Really great communication, especially with all of the snow removal that was needed while we were there. Skiing at Burke was just 5 minutes up the road, perfect location. We will definitely be back to stay again!

The cabin was beautiful. We loved it. Bill was invaluable with instructions on how to get there and with issues. We spent the coldest night in Vermont and were expecting issues with the cold, but Bill helped us through and offered assistance immediately. I'm pleased with our stay, even though we decided at the last minute. Everything was great. We had fun, and we enjoyed our stay.

A great stay in a beautiful location! The cabin is exactly the unplugged getaway we were looking for and is so charming and magical! Best few days tucked away doing nothing! We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Close to Jay Peak resort, local restaurants, and local general stores. The house was clean and had everything you could possibly need and more. Very impressed with the amount of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, blankets, even a sewing kit!! The kitchen had everything we needed for our family of eight, we cooked in every night and there was not one thing that we wanted that wasn’t already there! The yard is absolutely beautiful. Great for snowshoeing, sledding and just enjoying the outdoors. Nice quiet neighborhood and on a dead-end road. The clubhouse is an outdoor building with a foosball table, dartboard, video games and enough space to actually play twister! The host was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The home is handicap accessible with a ramp to get into the sliding glass door off the back porch and a first floor bedroom and bathroom. We can’t wait to go back during warmer weather and enjoy the river that is right in their backyard. Great time!!

Rachelle’s place was a perfect touchdown for a weekend skiing at Jay Peak. There is a small kitchen with plenty of spices, mugs, etc. I would reccommend a car with awd/4wd if going in winter, as the driveway was steep at the end.
