Holiday rentals with lake access in Orleans County

Very nice home. Walk down the driveway and you are across from the lake. Full kitchen amenities. Plenty of blankets and towels. The den with the gas fireplace is a really nice cozy room. Beds are ok - could use mattress upgrades. But plenty of room bed /rooms for the 7 of us. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Kevin's place is by far the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Everything far exceeded our expectations, and was even more beautiful than any picture could do justice. The house itself is large enough to sleep eight (we were only four), but still felt cozy enough that we never felt lost in it. The entire property is flawlessly clean and perfectly maintained. It's like staying at a postcard quality getaway. Lastly, Kevin is incredibly thoughtful in his dealings with guests, and doesn't overlook a single detail. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

Brad & Rose were very reactive and accommodating as they allowed us to do a last minute check in after plans fell through. The home was recently renovated, it is beautiful with many interesting books, games and even a telescope with a direct view of the lake. The house sits right on the lake and 30 minutes from Jay Peak. The private access road was plowed very early when it snowed overnight. Snow tires or 4WD are recommended in winter.

The White Owl is beautiful and accomodating. There’s nothing that Paige and Cody didn’t think of. It was the perfect spot for the long weekend with my family.

Great place! Right on the lake, next to Craftbury Outdoor Center! Melanie was also very responsive when we had a little snag and had to change plans. Would recommend based on location + house + host!

This is a lovely place with perfect rustic lived-in Vermont vibes. Our trip was for my 35th birthday and the host left a sweet handwritten happy birthday note, bottle of champagne and a few signature Vermont snacks. I felt very well taken care of and would absolutely come back again in a heartbeat. By the way, the neighbors’ dog is a perfect angel and we were happy to share some of our scramble with him when he dropped by to say good morning.

We were in Vermont for my son’s wedding. We had enough room for our family and it was only 15! Minutes from my son’s home. My grandson and dons loved the kayaks and fishing. Very relaxing weekend!

Jennifer's place was private, peaceful, and charming—the perfect place for a getaway. We loved the rural setting and views, and the interior was so artfully matched to its context, a lovingly restored barn. A very special place!

What is advertising, very cozy a lot of beds in so little place but not cramp.

We had a great stay and looking forward to coming back. The place was beautiful, very clean and more beautiful than the pictures. The parking area was perfect for snowmobilers and close to the local snowmobile trails.

Easy access and great location! Wish I had a snowmobile! Nick was quick with responding if I had any questions! Would stay again!

We stayed at Karen's place for the total eclipse, and the stay was excellent. The place is very cute (love the teapot decor) and check in/out was very smooth. She was very responsive and friendly.

The space is well thought out with plenty of room… it was very clean! Would highly recommend staying and walk to Willies’s, the local general store that has a little bit of everything! Also recommend driving to Hardwick, a short 10-15 minute drive, with a selection of restaurants. Hill Farmstead Brewery is about a 10 minute drive and this may be one of the closest lodging options!

Highly recommend this cute B&b cozy apartment! Such a great location and walking distance to shops and beach area. Karen made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable ! Exceptionally clean ! Amazing experience! Would rent again . A+++

Nice spot to crash for skiing, hiking, or climbing

Stayed here for my honeymoon with clear instructions from my wife to find somewhere near the water, more trees than people and it had to have kayaks and Nancy’s place fitted the bill exactly. Right on the lakeshore this place is absolutely adorable and while some others have commented that it was a little dated or the kitchen was too small that didn’t phase us in the slightest. Everyone we met and everywhere we walked, people were friendly and cheerful and it was great to be able to simply chill out in the garden and greet the people on the lake or cook dinner outside on the grill with no pressure, no noise and just enjoy watching the chipmunks, squirrels and birds on the lake and admire the scenery. We think we may even have spotted a mink around the property. Looking for somewhere to escape the world, then this is it. Everything you could ever want is there in house and we wanted for nothing. It’s charming, it’s peaceful and very, very relaxing. We’ll definitely be back soon 💯🎯👍🏼

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

Doug was a great host and his place is beautiful.

We were in a bind and couldn’t get to our house in the evening of our arrival. David was amazing and very quick to respond. He helped us find the house easily and was very helpful for the whole weekend! I highly recommend David and this property!

Lyndsay and Barry were quick to respond and very welcoming. They checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were alright, and enjoying our visit. The home was extremely clean and the view was beautiful.

Merry was attentive, accommodating, kind, and great at communication, a phenomenonal host! The house was cozy, comfortable, well stocked, and had amazing views right from the living room window! I really enjoyed the kayaking too...and not having to carry them since she is right on the lake! I would highly recommend her home! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Hope to return! Lori

Carol was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and communicative throughout our entire stay which we were really grateful for. Her place was as described and was very peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying at Carol's guesthouse and hope to be back one day.
