Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Orford Pavilion, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations, providing the ultimate sanctuary amidst nature's embrace. As a Tasmanian local, finding a nearby retreat that allows for true disconnection can be challenging, but this property offered a complete sanctuary where I felt fully disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The walking trails leading to the coastline unveiled picture-perfect spots where we were fortunate enough to witness a stunning full moon. The views are breathtaking. We also relished refreshing dips in the heated pool and enjoyed meditation sessions in the yoga studio. The open-plan design features soaring cathedral ceilings, abundant natural light, and stylish interiors that blend seamlessly with the breathtaking bushland. T attention to detail throughout the entire property is impeccable, with spaces thoughtfully arranged to allow for privacy if you were a larger group. Cannot wait to return!

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Amazing place for a holiday. Everything you need in one place. Loved the space and amenities. Games room, swimming pool and Chickens was a hit with the kids. So close to the beach. Had a wonderfull time. Thanks again for having us.

We had an amazing stay at Sativa house. The bed and linen was incredibly comfortable and soft. The house was super cosy and very well equipped with extra touches like panadol and extra toiletries if needed. We asked for a later check out time so we could enjoy the space for a bit longer and that was kindly granted to us :) Highly highly recommend! Not far from Hotel Bruny and the Bruny Baker too!

Shane's place was ideal for us. It was in a great location close to supermarkets, good coffee shops and restaurants. The amenities were great, the bedrooms large and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped.

Such a beautiful stay, we wished we had 3 or 4 nights not just one. Lovely location with the botanical gardens close by. walking distance to supermarket. Freya was a welcoming host (the breakfast supplies were very much appreciated) and Greyham is on hand should anything need fixing. Really wonderful stay. I'll be back for longer next time!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house has the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in an Airbnb. We spent a lot of our time out on the sunny deck admiring the amazing view and we even saw a seal in the bay. Deb is a wonderful and welcoming host. Highly recommend and we would love to go back.

Wow! What a hidden gem. Debbie’s inviting country cottage makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. She’s thought of everything from the fluffy robes to extra cosy blankets and even a vintage board game or two. Our family loved our stay here. We were also surprised when they offered a complimentary bottle of wine and Easter chocolate for the kids. There was a full container of milk provided, which I’ve never seen at any other Air BnB - so generous! If you’re headed to Maria Island for the day, Debbie’s place is less than a 7 minute walk to the ferry terminal. So much more relaxed than rushing to and from Hobart, we’d recommend staying here to take advantage of everything Maria Island and Triabunna has to offer.

Our team visited the area to do a job at the local hospital and Bernadette's place is in walking distance so super convenient for us. The home is a older style home but was clean and comfortable (nicer than the photos in the listing). If we need to visit for another job nearby we will definitely book again.

Fabulous stay at a lovely home. Great location and very cool house. Richard the host was very responsive when required and everything was as described. Awesome!

We had a wonderful stay.. the home was clean with spectacular views. Fishing was great, plenty of flat head. Minor annoying things were flat batteries in the torch and remote controller for DVD player but these things happen. The hosts were very friendly to speak with over messages and we really did have an amazing stay. Would definitely return in the future. A big thank you to the hosts.

Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful home with great beach views

Large, solid home with 4 large bedrooms, excellent heating, well appointed kitchen and laundry. We were a party of eight and appreciated two toilets and two showers. Whilst bedrooms comfortably accommodate 8, lounge room and kitchen table does not have enough space for all guests to sit in the room….didn’t bother our party too much. Would stay here again for sure.

This was a perfect retreat for a day of swimming and fishing in Pirate Bay. A beautiful home and location worth a visit and a return one too.

This was a great stay for my family and I. Walkable to Richmond’s cafes and shops, whilst feeling like a private holiday space. The house and rooms were well appointed, with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. We loved the hot spa!

Hounds Inn was exactly what my family were after, close to shops and restaurants. Easy walk to CBD. Centrally located to Hobart attractions too. Easy no fuss check in. Clean and functional house and amenities.

Really lovely place to stay. We booked in order to visit van Bone but were blown away by the beautiful, peaceful setting, amazing wildlife ( in house echidna and kookaburra family). It was perfect. Also really well stocked house, great library and telescope.
