Great place for families wanting to spend time in natural surroundings My kids loved watching birds, observing cows, playing with Fudgy, Seeing the fish aquarium and in general playing in the open park area. The place has great natural surroundings - so many different flowers, birds that you won't normally see in your usual city life and an overall sense of calm. Highly recommended! This place is a gem in Coonoor. And the owner is great guy! Right from getting to the property, the actual room, cleaninnes and the magical views from the property - all this were a delight for us. Additionally, the caretaker Mr. Guna is a helpful and responsive person for all your needs during your stay. The owner, Mr. Gerald, helped with some nice local suggestions and transport contacts. P.S. - Do try the fresh Dosas served in the morning breakfast, they're amazing!

Had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this beautiful property hosted by Mr Byram. Thankyou for accommodating us. everything was as shown in the pictures and even more beautiful in real. The staff were always there and took care of us they guided Us on where to go got us transport gave us well cooked homely food. definitely going back there👍

Abdul was go to guy for any help. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of food provided. Through out our stay we didn't go out for dinner as we ordered from kitchen and it was really delicious. My family loved it. Abdul has good local contacts, since it was peak season, I hired a call driver (Vijay) for 2 days given by Abdul and since Vijay was local guy, he was very helpful in taking to places and you can forget about tensions of parking your car and he knows all the traffic free routes and there are few routes only local cabs or local drivers are allowed to take. If any one is travelling in your own car, I strongly recommend you can hire local driver. Food - 5/5 Stay - 4.5/5 (height of ceiling is low in the bathroom if you are 5.9' ) Abdul thank you for your services and if you are looking for home based food you can order from the kitchen.

We booked the one with living room and stayed for 5 days, the stay was very comfortable, swiggy delivers there, you got Netflix and a very clean bathroom, Zuhaina was so sweet to us recommending good places to eat and see. The WiFi works well, if you wish to work from there it’s a plus! Coming back to this place after the treks and sightseeing was heavenly.

Great for the location and peacefulness of the area. Conveniently located - You can go to the town centre in just 5 minutes by car. Beautiful rooms in a lovely private tea estate with a cute garden outside the room. The team at Trilan Cottages welcomed us warmly and were very kind,proactive in getting things arranged. We had a fantastic experience in staying at these two adjacent rooms. The rooms were sparkling clean and well maintained with a super clean attached bathroom. We had yummy home cooked style food arranged by the cook at Trilan Cottages.Need to inform them about your food requirements in advance as it’s all freshly prepared from scratch. Overall a lovely peaceful place to spend your holiday. Totally recommended!!

The Eden felt like our own home Maria’s parents are such a sweet people who took immense care of us They provided unique Kerala food which we loved for breakfast and also home grown tea! The view from our room was outstanding The price is purely for the view and their hospitality Very clean room and restroom Great garden with car parking If someone is new to driving, might find the steep path slightly difficult but road was excellent There’s a dam located at walkable distance and is private Maria was extremely proactive in providing places of interest and restaurant recommendations This place is at the middle of Kotagiri and Coonoor. So its not so remote and we were able to access places with car easily.

Our stay at Stumpfields Honeysuckle was truly memorable! Nestled in beautiful natural surroundings, the place offers a peaceful retreat with lush greenery all around. The European-style architecture adds a charming touch, making the entire experience feel like a getaway in the countryside. The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. We also loved the friendly dog on the property, who made our stay even more special. Hari, the manager, was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless, which we really appreciated. That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. If you’re coming in a four-wheeler, the road leading up is quite rough. The staircase to the first floor felt a little risky, so caution is needed. Also, the water in the shower was a bit muddy at times. This has been one of the nicest and cleanest Airbnbs we have stayed at- and we have stayed at many! Starting from the communication from Maria which was proactive, always helpful and friendly, and was also very transparent in terms of setting expectations. She gave us a list of nearby restaurants to try and we found all the ones we tried to be great! Coming to Eden itself, we can't talk about the place without talking about the world's most friendly, sweetest and most hospitable hosts- Jose Uncle and Sindhu Aunty. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home- it genuinely felt like visiting family! The room was tastefully done, the linens were pristine and the whole place was super clean. The breakfasts every morning were fresh and tasty, the cups of tea provided by Uncle and Aunty were just the ticket given the cold weather. Conversations with Uncle and Aunty were super interesting and felt easy. We met as strangers, but left as family. Highly highly recommend!
