I stayed for 10 days and had a lovely time. It was very quiet and clean, the views at the property were amazing. It wasn't too far from nearby towns such as Buxton. Overall great experience.

We had a lovely few days at the Woodland Retreat, we were welcomed very warmly by Jo and shown around the cabin. It is a beautiful, warm, cozy setting, very rustic and romantic. The hot tub was a great addition to the experience. The surrounding area itself is beautiful and scenic, with some great places to eat and outstanding customer service. Would 100% recommend this stay, and would love to come again. - Matthew and Jess

Have just spent a lovely weekend in the hideaway which is situated on a farm, it was lovely to see and hear the animals our dog was especially intrigued. The place was spotless and really nicely decorated, equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. It was a cold weekend but we were super cosy in the accommodation.Although the hosts live close by they gave us plenty of privacy but it was reassuring to know they were there. Being only a short drive from the town of Leek the farm was a really peaceful yet convenient place to stay. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We spent time exploring Leek and went on a fantastic walk in the Roaches. I’d highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced place to stay in peaceful surroundings but close to amenities and also the beautiful countryside around. Thanks for having us, we look forward to returning.
