Mediterranean room, private entrance,free parking

Nina is a great host, she gave us excellent instructions about the accommodation and how to reach her apartment. The road to get there is steep but we made it with our 5.4m long campervan and we parked without any problems at her private area. The car was safe. The Old Town is within a walkable distance (around 25 minutes) and we also got instructions how to get there by bus. Highly recommended.

VillaDube - Family Garden Bungalow

Stine UlrikRating, 5 stars82 months ago
I highly recommend staying as a family at Villa Dube! We stayed a family of four (parents and two kids aged 2 and 4) in the bungalow at Villa Dube for 5 days during July. It was a very pleasant stay. Anita had been quick and easy to communicate with throughout the whole planning period, and we were greeted and cared for during our stay very warmly by both Anita and her parents, who are most kind people. The bungalow was just perfect for us - small, but very practical with a carefully considered interior design and cosy. Outside, we had a terrace and the big shared garden with a play house, that our kids loved, some swings, and the small pool. The little village of Slano is just a 10-15 min. walk away with plenty of restaurants and multiple - mostly stoney - beaches. In the other direction of Villa Dube are nicer beaches that also offer some shadow under the trees. We recommend that you go on the Sunset Boat Tour lasting approx. 2 hours departing at 7.30 PM from the harbour of Slano - nice crew and views of the bay and sunset. The tour includes a drink. We combined our stay with a day-trip to Dubrovnik, and were happy that we - as a family with small kids - decided to have our base outside of Dubrovnik and visit it this way instead. Slano and Villa Dube constitute a very fine place to spend your vacation, both for staying for some laid-back days but also as a base for exploring the coast around Dubrovnik if you have a car.

Undoubtedly the most charming idyllic location one could wish for. Truly wonderful accommodation, with annincredible garden terrace. But what topped our experience was our host. Vera's warm hospitality exceeded our expectations, with thoughtful personal touches such as a welcome drink and gifts which we will forever cherish. The location offered a perfect little break away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. Okuklje truly is paradise. The island of Mljet contains multiple inlets, beaches, vistas, quaint villages and an incredibly beautiful national park. In all, perfect for outdoor lovers.

Villa Mare&Filip, Sea view studio 3

My boyfriend and I spent a week in Ivana’s place. They had organised for someone to collect us from the airport prior to us arriving, which was a massive help. We were greeted at the door by Ivana’s daughter and made to feel welcome right away. The location is perfect for anyone who wants a relaxing holiday away from the big crowds of Dubrovnik, but close enough to Dubrovnik (a 10/15 bus journey) for that to be an option if you ever feel like exploring the beautiful old town. Our room had a beautiful view of the entire bay and it’s crystal clear water and we were given plenty of local tips and recommendations by Ivana and her daughter who marked places of interest on a map for us, which we certainly appreciated. We couldn’t recommend this place more and can’t thank Ivana and her family enough for making our stay in Croatia one we’ll never forget.

Amazing stay with Jasmina. The place was a little out of the centre, however, right next to the bus stop so very easy to get into the town. My only complaint was no AC and the room was quite hot. The photos do not do the air bnb justice- very beautiful with a stunning view of Dubrovnik from the balcony.
