Monthly Rentals in Old Man of Hoy

Howe Cottage was absolutely lovely; the views out of the window and from the garden are spectacular, and I enjoyed waking up to watch the sun rise over the islands every morning. The house itself was extremely clean, and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. The showers worked well, and the kitchen was excellent to cook in. Overall, it was a cosy and well-appointed stay in beautiful surroundings, and I'd definitely like to come back!

What an amazing find! Don't let the photos fool you. This place is cosy, clean and a little bit of peace and quiet that was just what we needed. Can not recommend this place enough.

Lyndsey's house is impeccable and extremely well-equipped. The outside is beautiful. I loved my stay in the Orkney Islands and Lyndsey's house was a big part of it! The fireplace is a very pleasant plus. The location is very convenient for traveling around the different islands. Lyndsey was very considerate throughout the stay. I will definitely come back if I travel to the Orkney Islands again!

We had such a relaxing time at the cottage, it is such a unique place to stay. We loved the decor and every day we spotted something new! It was typical Scottish weather with wind and rain but we didn't care as we were cosy by the fire then when the clouds cleared we were stargazing through the skylight at night, the shower is fantastic, water pressures is excellent What a special place, we are looking forward to booking again for another stay, The directions provided to the cottage and parking space were spot on and we didn't have any problems at all during our stay, Claire checked in with us on arrival to make sure we knew how to operate radiators etc, all in all I highly recommend a stay here.
