This place exceeded all my expectations. The name reflected its ambiance and I felt like it was an oasis that helped to replenish our souls. I’ve lived in Uganda for almost 3 years and I feel I finally found my getaway place. I will be sharing with my colleagues what a beautiful retreat this is. Sue and Richard are both amazing people who’ve shared their skills in hospitality so well. The decorations, view, and food were all excellent! Looking forward to coming back.

Stunning view over the Nile, our bungalow was lovely and we loved sleeping at the sounds of nature, Ceyda was very welcoming and made us feel at ease from the beginning. She also helped us book rafting and taxi, which was really helpful. Delicious breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend staying there ☺️

Such a beautiful place with magnificent view on the Nile. The garden is beautiful and peaceful and love the animals strolling around. Nile Nest is nearby, 15 minutes walk. It’s a beautiful place for a walk, swim and a meal or drinks. Alice is an outstanding host and would highly recommend staying at her place!

We loved the beautiful treed landscape. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Hope was a very friendly hostess and Madi took me on the river for excellent birdwatching, which is also excellent just walking to the riverside on the well groomed property.
