Holiday rentals with lake access in Northern California

If you are a fisherman, this is the place you’re looking for. Boats can be tied up and no matter the weather you are protected. Less than a 2 minute drive to county park launch ramp. Beautiful place all around.

This was our second time staying here & like the first, it did not disappoint. I can definitely see it becoming our come-to spot. It really has everything you need inside & out, for a nice, peaceful, relaxing time on the lake. We really enjoy our time here. The weather was perfect & fishing was great. The lake had a bit more algae this time, but that’s always iffy here & didn’t take away from being able to enjoy our time here. The nights were clear & cool & perfect for stargazing. Jeff is a fantastic host, kind & very responsive.

The updates to the home were awesome. This was our 7th visit and love it so much. Our kids love the lake, swimming, tubing and fishing there. Great fun, would highly recommend a visit. Thank you Ryan!

Everything was as advertised. We were in town for a fishing tournament! It was an awesome location to get to and from the tournament blast off. Easy check in and out.

We had a great time at Jason's house! We took advantage of the numerous games available in the coffee table chest, and the arcade games in the game room. It's a fun place and it was also very clean when we arrived. Jason was very responsive when we had a bit of an issue with the key box. Overall we had a great experience and we would willingly come back again!

My family felt very comfortable in Suzanne's condo. There was plenty of room and the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the stay was having Suzanne as a host. She was very quick to respond to our questions and gave exact directions to find the condo.

Place and stay was great. Everything as in description. I would stay again for sure.

We stayed at Heidi's place a few years ago for a week or so when visiting Oakland, and happily chose the same place when we wanted to be back in town for close to a month.

What a wonderful neighborhood. Located next to beautiful Lake Merritt, cafe next door and great pizza a block away, the property was a wonderful place to spend time. City bikes are nearby so getting around without a car was quite easy. Lots of restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Definitely would recommend.

Missy and Sandy’s place was perfect! They were flexible with check in and made us feel very welcome. It was a well appointed place that was comfortable for us, two couples. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing! We’d love to go back.

Very convenient location, cozy room, and communicative host. The space was exactly as advertised. I would recommend bringing your own cooking basics(there are plates/pots/ect but no salt for example) and toiletries (eg shower was stocked with shampoo and hand soap but not body wash) but the Safeway is very close if you forget anything.

Lovely little house for a family of three. Nice and clean, laundry on site, fully stocked kitchen and a car charger available for us. What's more, the location could NOT be more ideal! The house is within a very short walk of the beach and downtown, including multiple shops and restaurants.

Madison and David’s place is very cozy and right on the gorgeous lake. Definitely small town vibes, which is what we were going for. The place was clean and the heaters worked well bc it was very cold when we went. Would definitely stay again!

My wife and I booked a last minute weekend for us and our two small children (3 and 5). Tom & Margie's cabin was perfect for our purposes. My kids were happy with the bunk-beds, we were comfortable in the home, living room and all rooms were all cozy and warm. The furnace/fireplace was a nice touch. All rooms were amply warm in the middle of winter. The kitchen was good for some basic cooking. For the Summer each room for sleeping has AC units installed which is a nice touch. We used the hot tub while the kids napped, which was great. Big yard for outdoor activities. We would stay again!

I visited and stayed in cottage 5 in June 2023. Recently, I was lucky enough to get the same cottage, it was really nice to experience the lake during winter season this time in February 2025. Jason and Elaine did a great job of keeping it clean. Me and my husband tried canoeing, and we got drifted away. The hosts were very quick in driving all the way and helping us get back safe to the Airbnb. Elaine also taught me fishing 🎣. It was a lovely visit 😊 Highly recommended for everyone.

Amazing place to stay. We loved it so much that we will be coming more often. Clear lake is hidden gem for wine testing and Carolyn’s place is just perfect for nice weekend. Loved every day view of lake with lots of birds and beautiful sunset. Thanks a lot for making our trip memorable.

Melissa's Cottage is a real feel-good place. You enter the accommodation and feel right at home. It is very clean, incredibly cosy and furnished with love. In the morning you are greeted by birdsong and deer in the garden. It is about 1 hour away from Yosemite National Park. The perfect place to switch off. We would definitely come back.
