Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in North Shore

Kelly was such a kind host! Her home is peaceful and cozy. The house was absolutely spotless, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. She provided plenty of throw pillows and blankets to cozy up and watch movies. It is centrally located while being in a quiet neighborhood. The fenced in back yard was a bonus for the pups! If you’re thinking about booking Kelly’s place, DO IT! I would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Anna's place. The house is small and cozy. Perfect for 4 or 5 people. The neighborhood was quiet and had easy access to Roanoke. The kitchen had all that we needed. We appreciated the snacks left out to welcome us and check in was super easy. Anna responds quickly to any emails. The parking space is small but adequate for one vehicle. There are a few uneven steps up to the door so be careful as you arrive and go in. There are plenty of extra towels if needed in the laundry room and extra covers for the bed. We would recommend Anna's place!

I was looking for someplace close to the hospital and found this place it was clean and comfortable and Kandise was very helpful when I didn’t find the key right away. I would definitely stay there again if I needed to.

Betsy’s house on Smith Mountain Lake is wonderful. From the driveway it looks like a jiggly small cottage. You go inside and wow! What a surprise! 6 bedrooms on two floors, a screened in porch, a deck and wonderful dock and boathouse. We enjoyed ourselves so much here.

Conny's home was well stocked with all of the essentials. It was the best of all of the rental homes that we have rented. His home worked very well for the 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 children. Two of the children play ice hockey and it was just minutes away from both ice rinks. The location worked well for us, (grocery stores, restaurants, mall, theater, etc.), was so close by. Conny's home is at the top of our list. Conny responded quickly when we had any questions. We would defintely enjoy staying here again.

Rock was a wonderful host and the home is absolutely gorgeous with all the modern amenities! We have family in the area and were there(Jan 17-19) to "finally" celebrate Christmas! Our stay was flawless, we have two 16 year old boys and a Pug! Plenty of room for everyone! The interior of the home is completely modernized, beautiful kitchen all large and small appliances, large TV's in the living room and bedrooms, very nice tiled showers in each room! Very comfortable beds...same comment was made by the teenager that slept in the other bedroom! I am certain, as long as it's available, we will stay here again! Unfortunately, the weather was not great(there had just been a snow/ice storm and there were still remnants), but we weren't there to enjoy the outdoors this time! The home is very private and I felt very safe as well! Thank you to Rock, who called me ahead with concern and to warn about the left over ice/snow and to be very cautious on the walkway and steps. Awesome experience!!

Barb and John were excellent hosts! Nature Stay really does describe the peaceful scenery with rippling water sounds to complete the scene. And the 2" of snow that fell during our stay added another layer of beauty! Early the next morning, John was shoveling the snow from our back door, up the driveway and all the way to our car! They provided extra touches during our stay like plenty of cold water bottles, breakfast items and plenty of coffee, tea and paper products! We will definitely be staying with them again in the future!

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

This was a wonderful rental for the beginning of our 7 day trip. The check in directions were extremely clear, the unit was bright and airy feeling, and super clean. There were snacks available for us, coffee and water. The beds were extremely comfortable and I look forward to staying here again.

Great place to stay while in Lynchburg!! Very close to Liberty University. Place was very clean! Hosts were very accommodating with everything we needed even had water in a dog bowl for our pup when we walked in. We thought that was so sweet!!! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!

Super nice apartment in an ideal location. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has everything you need. You can walk all over downtown. Many restaurants close by. We went at Christmas and the apartment is right in the middle of the beautiful Christmas light walk.

This place was charming and spacious in a safe part of town. All things you'd need were available, including an extra monitor if you brought your laptop for work!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at Kathleen’s condo numerous times, and it is always perfect! The kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked, the bedding is comfortable, and the whole condo feels like home away from home. Kathleen is an attentive and friendly host. We look forward to going back!

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!

Great stay. Cute condo right above restaurant and store. Brought my SUP and used it a lot. Lots to do at Mariner’s landing. Great food and service at The Landing, Bruno’s and Bottles and Bites. State Park 7 minutes away is excellent for hiking. Lots of friendly neighbors! We’re ready to go back!!

The place was just like the photos . We loved everything about it . I will say the bed was so comfy and cozy . I would highly recommend staying here !

Staying here was in close proximity to our friends who live on the lake and close to other family members who stayed in the same building. The surroundings and view are a piece of heaven. We were able to get on the water to visit restaurants, swimming was great with a water temp of 82. We didn’t use the pool or gym but they are there. Pool looked clean & inviting but we opted to be in the lake. Lots of deer around day & night. So drive safely.

We absolutely enjoyed our Christmas stay! It was extremely peaceful and the view was spectacular. The onsite dining was very convenient and the food was delicious. We were able to get out and walk, my husband and son had great luck fishing. I would love to come back during the summer season. The condo was clean and beautiful. Judy is a wonderful host.
