Monthly Rentals in North Heath

Elspeth and Adrian are a truly lovely couple and by the end of our stay we felt like we had been visiting friends as opposed to renting a vacation rental. The Village is lovely as our the locals. The only business, The Rising Sun pub, was a FANTASTIC place to eat-we managed to nearly try everything on the menu over the month of our stay, and a cozy locale to have a pint and play a game of Scrabble (we brought our own), and easy to strike up a conversation with the locals (some quite colorful!).

From the moment we arrived we knew we would have a fantastic stay. The heating had been turned on ready for our arrival. Every room is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and well thought out. The space is so calming and comfortable. The little welcome gifts for us and our dog were beautiful and so thoughtful. In fact the stay was so relaxing we have already booked to stay again! We had a lovely stay in this cosy annexe. Clare has decorated, furnished and provided all you could need for a comfortable short break. The apartment is spacious, the bed and sofa are large and comfortable, the shower spacious and hot, and the kitchenette well-equipped. The location is very peaceful, and being 2 miles down a dead-end road, you’re deep in the countryside and away from the hustle and bustle. The downside of this was that the internet was very slow and often unresponsive. This made researching local places to visit / places to eat rather slow and tedious. Strangely, when the internet did work, there was enough signal to stream programmes in HD on the smart TV. The fresh loaf of bread, homemade marmalade, local honey, cornflakes and milk were lovely touches, but compared to other places we’ve stayed that include a ‘continental breakfast’, it felt a little basic. The EV charger was very welcome and worked perfectly. Overall a lovely, warm bolt-hole in the countryside!

Always a pleasure staying with Claire. Her place is quietly tucked away on the edge of the town, within easy walking distance to a variety of restaurants and pubs.
