A fantastic beach cottage that is highly recommended. Everyone talks about the views and the settings - and for very good reason. This is possibly one of the best located options in all of Tasmania. Primrose Sands is a stunning curved beach with benign waters, and the cottage is right on the beach. The cottage is very comfortable, and extremely well kitted out. The kitchen is excellent, with modern equipment, a well stocked pantry and lots of gadgets. The bedrooms comfortable, and we really appreciated the wood burner and the ready supply of logs. However, the allure is outside and we loved the access to sea kayaks which provided the highlight of our trip - watching a pod of dolphins cavorting around the kayaks. There are (well kept and good quality) life jackets - as well as fishing rods and toys for younger children. Port Arthur is an excellent day trip option from here, and we’d also recommend Bangor Vineyard for an outstanding lunch and vineyard tour. We hope to come back soon!

We had a lovely stay at Annie’s place. Very responsive and helpful host. The house was very clean and tidy. In a quiet neighbourhood, lovely water view from the living room. Would highly recommend.

What a beautiful experience! Joanne was nothing but amazing. This place is in a very central location and very affordable. Our host was always responsive and catered to all of our needs very promptly. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Hobart. 5 Stars!

Debbie has made this place into a beautifully furnished and comfy accommodation. One of the best, no probably the best in that it was so comfortable, from the lounge to beds and pillows, electric blankets, Kitchen could stay for some time. Firstly it was spotless, felt freshly renovated we felt right at home. Lovely garden and outlook. Parked the car in the car port very handy. We stayed to visit Maria island, it was at the most a 5 minute walk to the ferry, 2-3 minutes from the IGA supermarket and Maria island cafe yet extremely quiet. On arrival the dinner service was set up with a bottle of wine, glasses and some chocolates. Couldn’t fault the place, highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway where you will relax then this is a wonderful spot. Loved the pademelons visiting us in the backyard. Has the amenities you would want and having the fireplace & outdoor fire pit ready to go was appreciated.

This was such a perfect spot! Lovely unobstructed views of the water, an outdoor jacuzzi and luxurious amenities. We loved the local birds and the peaceful vibes ☺️. It was also great having our two small pups with us. Thank you so much 😊

Natalie has cornered the market on being an attentive and helpful host. Location was great, comfortable beds and quiet location. We had four nights at Sandy Bay and would happily return.

This is exactly how Airbnb should be. The place is magic, the view to die for and the location just spot on. You will love this place, it has everything you could possibly want. Just remember to stock up in food/grog before leaving Hobart. The local store is really friendly but stock is limited. We will be back, no questions.
