Holiday rentals with a patio in Norfolk

Dustin's home is beautiful, and the upstairs seperated suite is exactly what we needed for our quick weekend in Norfolk. Just a few minute walk to the beach, and plenty of things to do in the area!

After being disappinted with the local hotels on several occasions I decided to give Airbnb a try. I found this little gem. I stayed one night. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The community was quiet. It was very convenient to Hampton University, some good restaurants, and the Peninsula Town Center. I would stay there again.

The location was easy to find, and the inside was easy with the key box. The home is very cozy, clean, and well-decorated. It has a shabby chic vibe, and I loved the owners' taste in decor. The king-size bed was great! The rooms were cozy, and there was space to relax. There is a dining space room and kitchen amenities (coffee, sugar, bring your creamer). The patio area is relaxing and quiet. A small table and grill would be great next time. Thank you for being a great host! We enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Sarah’s place. Her place made us feel right at home and we loved everything about it. We definitely want to come back and get this place again. She was very helpful and responded right away about a router my husband needed to work from home.

The condo is even nicer than the pictures. Awesome sunrise can be viewed from the balcony. Dolphins swim by at all times of the day. Restaurants and bars are all walkable. It is a wonderful place to enjoy Virginia Brach. We will be back.

An amazing place. My family and I enjoyed our stay here and we look forward to coming back. The host was very pros active with communication and provided clear instructions. The unit was all they said it was and ideal for a family or a small group. The kitchen was well stocked and my kids enjoyed having pancakes for breakfast while looking at the beautiful beach. Nice clean space very close to CNU. Bed was comfortable and everything else was as described. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We loved our beach getaway because of our accommodation, it was private and peaceful and had everything we needed! Very clean and furniture done in great taste! We spent a whole week and we didn't want to leave. We especially loved the deck with all the beautiful plants and that we could hear the ocean especially at night! A big plus! We are definitely going back! Jules and Scott, the hosts were so welcoming and kind to us and always helpful. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and so easy! What a gem this place is! Kenzi's place is a fantastic AirBnB stay! Clean, comfortable, well equipped and i understand that is Very close to the beach! I did see a sand dune a half a block away. I gotta believe there's a beach on the further side.

Kate was a lovely host. Location is good, a walk across the street to a beach access path. Just north of Virginia Beach's main strip only a quick drive away. Grocery store and restaurants just down the street. Neighbor was very friendly. Will be staying here again next time I visit.

Great spot close to an uncrowded beach, clean and beautiful space (fireplace is a plus!), and we really appreciated Scorno's flexibility with check in/checkout time and his quick responses! Will be back for sure!!

Very nice throughout the home. Updated and clean. Plenty of space to relax. Spacious bedrooms and living area. The added amenities, snacks and drinks were great too. Great home to get away and relax. We definitely recommend this home to anyone looking in the area!

Ms. Tawanda was excellent. Although we didn’t get to enjoy her place due to the passing of my brother I would definitely recommend her place to any of my family members and would definitely go again! Thank you for your outgoing personality and condolences to my family during this difficult time! Your place felt like home and we were at ease and comfortable! The Bed was amazing and amenities too!

Clean, roomy, location with a big comfortable bed. Convenient location (marred slightly by construction on the main road). Washer/dryer including laundry soap was a bonus. Everything seemed new as if recently renovated. A malfunctioning water heater on the first night was fixed by the next afternoon - the maintenance personnel showed up very shortly after Chandler called him the next morning, and then made himself available for followup service as needed. Responses to texting or through the app were somewhat delayed, but once the water heater was fixed everything went smoothly. Another bonus was the location of a couple nice restaurants in the center next door within easy walking distance - especially nice not having to get out at night when the primary construction was happening. Very nice place - would stay there again.

Well maintained, clean and free of clutter. She had a nice tray of coffees, teas and chocolates available. I love my nighttime tea and had forgotten to bring it, so that was great. Had a nice fenced in yard that we were able to use to practice soccer. Kitchen had mostly everything we needed minus a couple mixing bowls. There was some food and spices there (from other guests maybe) that we weren't sure if we could use or not. I was confused about getting logged into WiFi but I messaged Collette and she walked me through it. Nice place and well priced.

Very cute condo with wonderful hosts! It was very cozy, soft couch, soft throw that smelled great! Variety of mattress firmness to choose from which was nice. Amenities were good, most everything you need. Plenty of space for 2 or 3. Host went above and beyond when an issue with the AC arose and resolved it promptly! Pros: Cozy, great location to the water, host is amazing, great amenities. Cons: Driveway is snug and you have to back into traffic unless you get a lucky break and can back in. The walls are thin, you are on the road so traffic noise, helicopters and the guests downstairs can can be heard talking, shutting doors and other things 😬 … but it did not interrupt me. I used a white noise app on my phone and I sleep in earplugs (light sleeper) & I slept all night. I’m a country girl so city noise is not something I’m used to! I live next to a military base so helicopters I’m used to. My mom never heard a thing! We both loved the place and agree we’d both totally stay again.

Space is compact, but ideal for the 3 of us. Although we were not in town for pleasure (funeral), the beach is only a few blocks away. Kat was very quick in responding to any questions. She is a very gracious host.

The place was as described. One thing I wish that would have been different would have been more blankets. when you are staying with other people, many people like to sleep much cooler than others!!! I was odd man out for wanting the place warmer. the beds had a top sheet and 1 blanket, no comferters. In the closet was 1 blue velour blanket for each bed. However, we had someone sleeping on the sofa sleeper. This meant one bed had to give up one of there blankets for the person on the sofa sleeper. so 1 bed had just a top sheet and 1 blanket. it would have been great if there had just been a few more blankets. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing and she responded VERY quickly to take care of the situation. thank you! We had 4 people and we stayed 7 days, and there were only 3 and 1/3 rolls of toilet paper, 3 trash bags and 3 dishwasher pods. So we hand washed dishes many nights and bought more toilet paper. We enjoyed our stay and the location.

My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sammie's place! We felt right at home in the apartment and especially enjoyed the comfortable sofa and chairs in the living room. The neighborhood is lovely, and you can walk to everything, although it was a bit more of a walk to the beach than we expected. We enjoyed the pool and patio too. There were nearby laundry facilities, but we did not utilize them. The artwork throughout the apartment was beautiful and we loved the mermaid theme throughout. Our only complaint were the dirty floors and empty soap dispensers! Sammie's apartment was perfect for our visit, and we felt like locals staying there! Sammie was a gracious and responsive host!
