Well-equipped house, great location for trips in Rondane Park. A bit of a disturbance is the night traffic of a nearby railway line. Julie Marie was always available, communication was great. thank you so much!

This is an amazing house - it has much space and many rooms on two floors, two balkonies, a major kitchen and 2-3 living rooms i.e. rooms to hang with your family/friends to eat, relax or whatever one wants to do. The house is excellently located between several very beautiful national parks, and if you don’t want to go for a drive you can also hike the local mountain to get an excellent view. Last but not least we want to thank our host Synnøve and her husband for the super friendly and proactive communication and very quick help when needed. All in all very recommended!

Super cozy place and house! We unfortunately arrived late at night and had to leave early, but could be here much longer! Definitely a gem you don't want to miss. Everything was clean and money, clear beds and towels laid out. Thank you so much for having us stay. We'll be back!

Beautiful and spacious home! Lovely view of the hillside. House is really cozy and lots of space. Very quiet and peaceful. So close to town yet we felt like we were in a remote spot! Definitely recommend. Borgy was so helpful- she alerted us to a road closure due to flooding the morning we were leaving for the airport- super helpful.

We had such a lovely stay at Elisabeth’s place. The farm and surrounding area is gorgeous, with beautiful views from every window of the home. The house itself was fun and funky, with lots of character. Beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure, and the kitchen was well stocked. Thank you Elisabeth for a wonderful stay!

Jorun’s place is magical. We were completely taken aback by the view of the mountains and the lake. We spent a week there over New Years and had our first experience skiing with our two children (2,5 and 6 years old). Jorun was a great host, and the cabin was beyond comfortable, everything we needed, always warm and just so nicely decorated. We an absolutely perfect holiday! Highly recommended. We home to come back next year! All the best to you and much gratitude!

Very nice and cosy house. Even at -20 degrees, we had a pleasant warmth (underfloor heating) inside and wood for the fireplace was always there to make it even more cozy. Great kitchen with everything you need, my only problem, I would have needed another large cup for tea. I think if I had asked, I would have got one, but then I didn't think about it. The host is very friendly and supports questions about things to do in the region. The room layout with two bedrooms, each with separate bathroom, was great for our concern. As a base for exploring the Rondane National Park, the house was ideal and also the local infrastructure had everything we needed for us. Nevertheless, we also had the tranquility we wanted. For us, the house is definitely an option for another stay in Norway. Thank you Liv for the nice week.

Beautiful cozy spot for a long weekend winter getaway. Martin was extremely responsive and helpful— he even drove over to drop off some ski poles I could use when I realized I’d forgotten mine and made some helpful recommendations on what ski trails to try. Cabin is small but perfectly setup for a cozy time with a small group. We loved the cozy double bed alcove which offers some privacy in the main cabin and the separate building with a couple beds and small electric heater. We enjoyed xc skiing and snowshoeing from the front door.

Very modern, spacious and beautiful cabin close to the lake! A perfect place to relax. We had a lovely time there over Christmas, the cabin is well-equipped and big enough for 4 adults. The decorated Christmas tree and cross-country skiing opportunities close-by were the absolute highlights.

We stayed at the beautiful cabin for 2 nights and it was amazing. The view was breathtaking especially during the sunrise. The cabin was super clean and it had everything we needed.The hosts were super cool and friendly and very responsive. We totally recommend it as it was a life-time experience. We would love to come back!:)

Very nice two houses. Everything works, it was warm and cozy. We used the fireplace every day - it was very nice to sit in the comfortable chairs in front of the fire. There is always a hot jacuzzi waiting for you outside. It is especially nice to climb into the jacuzzi after a day of skiing, also nearby.

The house was beautiful and felt very homely. It was easy to settle in as it was clean with all necessities available. The area around was amazing with great views and a nice friendly neighbourhood. With a ski slope outside the house, we were never bored and had lots of fun! A great place to spend some time at Christmas! The owners were very friendly and rresponded quickly to our every query. We would happy return once again :)

Beautiful, comfy, cosy cabin in stunning surroundings. We loved the scenery and even saw a moose on our drive up to the cabin on our first night! Plenty of nice walks and amazing views nearby. A good chance to experience living closer to nature and how things 'used to be' (no running water, fridge, plumbed-in toilet, etc). Hans was responsive and helpful when we had queries about anything and our stay was one of the highlights of our Norwegian adventure. Thanks again.

As a family, we wanted to spend our Christmas vacation in a cabin in the snow and had high expectations due to the pictures and description - all of which were exceeded! Right when we entered the Snowcake Cottage, we felt at home: After a short walk through the deep snow, we were greeted by a bright, warm house. Everything is very clean, tidy and there is a cozy, homely atmosphere throughout the house. The decor is very cozy, high quality and in immaculate condition, see pictures. It has everything you need, especially the kitchen is complete. The view has completely delighted us: the view goes far over the lake to the many snow-capped mountains and there is a new, fantastic view at any time of day. The communication with Saskia and Chris was always extremely friendly, open and easy. You always felt like you were visiting friends. In short: Full recommendation!
