Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Noosa Shire

My family and I had a fabulous time at Summer salt in Sunshine! It was the perfect place to accommodate our large group. My family of five (3 children under 6) stayed in the main house which was perfectly set up for us. My mother visiting from Canada and my husband’s mother and partner each had their own private dwellings on the lower half of the property which was perfect in allowing for their privacy and separation during our 9 nights stay. The pool was fabulous especially for small children as it had a soft landing and perimeter and wasn’t too deep. The location was great and only 10 minutes walk to the little sunshine village as well as a path directly down to sunshine beach. Penny was a great host and extremely responsive and welcoming. She even offered us a late check out without request! Would highly recommend Summer Salt if you’re visiting Noosa and travelling with a two or more families! Thanks again Penny x

We highly recommend this beautiful quaint listing. It was perfect for us. Its location is in the middle of the area yet close to Noosaville, Maroochydore etc. The lush surroundings provide a lot of privacy, you would not know Richard & Fiona lived on the same block of land.

I had an incredible stay at Lisa’s place! She was an amazing host—her communication was fantastic, making everything smooth and hassle-free. This is a great house for a wheelchair user and his/her family. We really appreciated the addition of portable ramps and shower chairs. The house is very comfortable and the location on the canal is lovely. Plus, it's an easy walk to local shops and Gympie Terrace. The pool is a new addition since we last stayed and was very welcome. However, access into the pool itself is limited for those with a disability, depending on mobility. As there are limited options on the Sunshine Coast for wheelchair users who also wish to take their pet/assistance animal, this house is definitely worth considering for a holiday. On a side note, one member of the family required a visit to Noosa Hospital Emergency (5 minutes away by car) and we can highly recommend the hospital, the staff and the treatment provided.

This house was perfect for our stay within the Sunshine Coast. Location was great, with a short distance to Hastings street and Sunshine Beach shops. We loved the lush green gardens and outdoor areas. We were a family of three couples with one 10 month old and it had enough space for all of us and everything we needed to holiday with an infant! The hosts were amazing! So diligent and quick to respond. They even came down to the house when we couldn’t locate the travel cot. We’ll definitely be back again.

Beautiful and spacious villa in sunshine beach. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. Place is as described and loved the pool. Perfect for families!

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday with the kids. The house is located at a close distance to Hastings street and the main beach, so we were always able to head out to enjoy all the activities, but then get back to the calm and peace of the house, away from the bustle and noise. The pool was great and kids absolutely loved it. All the amenities and comforts provided. Definitely a great spot to get away.

Our third stay at the ‘castle’ we love it, just like home in this nostalgic cottage. Di was amazing as always, we will be back.

This was a great Airbnb. It looked exactly like the pictures. It was clean in a hotel, sterile kind of way, lacking a bit in the personal touches we’ve come to enjoy with other airbnbs. It was well stocked, which is always helpful when travelling. The location can’t be beat!! Walking distance to the beaches, coffee shops and Hastings street, which is a very happening place. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone asking.

Fantastic spot, a quick walk to the beach. Excellent amenities from the gym and the cafe downstairs to all the little touches in the room. I’d love to stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay at The Cockleshell. It was a great location and easy walking to good cafes and restaurants and easy drive to many local attractions. It was very quiet and we had the pool to ourselves each day. It had everything we needed, clean and comfortable.

The apartment is in an efficiently run holiday complex which is really well located at the top end of Gympie Terrace. You are close enough to walk to everything but during the crazy period over Xmas you’re not overrun by people and cars. Checkin was extremely quick and easy and the place was clean and turned over nicely. Also nice that they had turned on the AC and cooled the place down for our arrival. Wifi was a bit unreliable but that’s a negligible issue. During the Xmas and New Year period all accommodation in Noosa costs triple what it normally should but this place was priced better than the other options around the popular Gympie Terrace area.

Mia was an excellent communicator throughout our stay. Her place was large which was perfect for our family. The walk to the beach was easy enough with our beach wagon. We enjoyed having a full kitchen for meals and mia left a few special treats which was lovely. Expansive unit and will stay again.

Our stay was easy, relaxing, convenient and surprised by all the little luxuries discovered in the house. The massage spa was popular with my cyclist son. I loved the cooking facilities in the kitchen and outdoor kitchen. Wonderful stay and Sunshine beach was spectacular as usual.

Beautifully presented unit. Clean, simple & inviting. Lovely decor, with bright colours & the feeling of home. All the basics there if you want to chill in at home. Cook, watch the box, swim in the pool or read quietly out the back in the court yard. Simply brilliant. Would stay again for sure. Congrats ladies. Simply brilliant Geoff

This airbnb surpassed our expectations. It was beautiful, clean, spacious. We felt so comfortable that we decided to stay in and cook for most nights because we enjoyed the airbnb so much! Would highly recommend if you want a relaxing stay near the beach/main town area. They even had body boards available to use if you fancied it!

Cliff’s place was great for a few days getaway. Had great facilities and everything you could need to be comfortable and at home. Heaps of extras like bikes and kayaks and 3 pools to relax by at the complex. Cliff was very accomodating and friendly. Very prompt at responding to all enquiries and provided plenty of helpful information. Would highly recommend staying here when in Noosaville! Thanks again
