Our stay at Maarten's place was fantastic! The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. Maarten and Ilse were amazing hosts, always responsive to our msgs. They ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house is nestled by a serene lakeside, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bikes, relaxing chairs by the lake. The thoughtful touches truly stood out, like the beautiful Christmas decorations with a charming tree and lovely lighting added to the festive atmosphere. We loved spotting the adorable Big duck family and squirrels near the property and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the forest trail, where we saw deers, horses and rabbits. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for this experience and would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway.

Everything is just great

Fully equipped including good bed, neat, beautiful green and quiet area, parking in front of the door and a nice and attentive host. Plus: excellent value for money! In short, recommended.

We greatly loved our stay! Everything is taken care of down to the last detail. The cottage is very cozy and clean, and in the jacuzzi with a view you can unwind. Highly recommended! There are plenty of hiking opportunities in the neighborhood and Groningen is nearby. Are you looking for a nice place for 2 where you can relax? Don't hesitate and book. You will not regret it!
