Monthly Rentals in New Galloway

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend, and it was a pleasant, relaxing stay. Katy and her husband are very friendly. They gave us some highlights to visit in the surrounding area. The location is great if you want a short break from fast city life.

Absolutely loved our stay in the hut. So peaceful and relaxing. Lots of games and books to keep us entertained when we weren’t on the loch/exploring the surroundings! The outdoor bath was a great touch and the outdoor table and bench was the perfect spot to eat our tea while watching the sunset.

Ryan was excellent start to finish! A beautiful home - that still kept some of the original structure of the millhouse. The Garden would be a lovely little sun trap in the summer and is so easily accessible from the main road. Loved the two fires in each room keeping the place nice and warm. Parking also excellent- as literally park 6 feet away from the front door. Such a peaceful area to spend the weekend- we will definitely be back and looking forward to staying again.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The Mill is absolutely stunning - the photos don’t do it justice at all. It is beautifully put together with a well equipped kitchen, smart decor and so many interesting bits and pieces to give interest. There was such care and consideration given to making sure all needs were catered for from the toys and books to the extensive CD and DVD collection. The grounds are breathtaking and it would be easy to go nowhere else. We were very well looked after and enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and a campfire. This is the perfect place for a family to find peace and reset. Walking up to the birds and the sounds of the waterfall was like a detox. We petted donkeys, saw bee hives, looked for fish and paddled in the water. Our children are already planning a further stay. Exceptional value for money and just beautiful. Thank you Lorraine and the wonderful Arjun for looking after us so well.
