It is a great house to stay with a large group, very spacious and with nice bedrooms. The brought games stayed in the bag; there is a table tennis table, poulebilart, shuffleboard and piano! And with nice weather you will have a large garden at your disposal. The beautiful stories of Peter and Milou about the house were the icing on the cake.

Johanna’s house is beautiful! The decor is stunning! I came here to visit family and enjoyed hosting them for coffee and cake. She ensures that you have everything you need for your stay. The house’s location is very convenient; it is close to Midstraat which has everything you need. Thank you Johanna for a lovely stay!

We were very positively surprised by the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The garden was very nice and perfect for our little dog and the kids. Froukje is a very nice hostess who welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips for the area. Check-in was also uncomplicated and there were even snacks ready. The apartment was very clean and there was everything you need. The distance to the dog beach is super close and the right beach is adjacent. The city is a little further on foot, but also easily accessible and really nice . We would recommend this place and would book it again.

Stayed here in Arum with his nine friends weekend. It was a real autumnal November weekend but inside it was warm and cozy! After a nice but fresh mudflat trip on Saturday morning, we sat by the wood stove for the rest of the day, some have still been in the bath and we watched extensively and watched a movie via Netflix. Visited Franeker (Planetarium) on Sunday, which was really worth it. It was the perfect house for our fall weekend! In addition, everything was tidy and super clean and communication with Birgit was easy!

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. Thank you Gwen and Marieke that we were also allowed to be guests in your uniquely beautiful cottage!

beautiful historic house in the heart of the center, finely furnished and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and a great check-in experience. We spent 6 nights with our two dogs at Marc's place and felt at home during that time. Marc is a great host who is always easily accessible; Bea visited us and helped us with questions. The small house is cozily furnished and very well equipped. We didn't lack anything. We loved sitting on the cozy veranda and enjoyed the great view. The surroundings are quiet, there is a lot of nature and there are many easily accessible excursion destinations nearby. Marc also provides bicycles and a boat, which we did not use. All in all, we were thrilled, enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back.

The house was as described. Stayed here with 4 adults and a dog and had plenty of space. It was very clean like the bathroom and floors and there was no dust to be found. Also in October we could enjoy the terrace. There are also fun games, books and movies available. From the house you can walk in Lemmer or towards the Brekken. Nice host Evert is very pleasant in communication.

Kaya's mobile home is tastefully decorated and everything was hassle-free. Even now in the fall it was nice and warm and comfortable. We were in Warns with a two-year-old child and a small dog. Thanks Kaya! Goy family

We had a great weekend with friends to get out. It's the perfect size for 4 people. From the bathroom to the open living room with kitchen, everything was great. We felt right at home and you don't have to worry about cold feet either. Miranda was super nice and very quick to respond to questions and was very accommodating, we would repeat this any time

Nice cottage, nice and personally furnished with not standard stuff. Nearby, there is plenty to do. We had too little time in 1 weekend for everything there was to do. The cottage has a nice sofa and 2 nice chairs so that the four of us could really sit. To eat and play games a table with chairs. Our dogs were allowed to come! Only details: lock bathroom was difficult to lock. And we found the duvets very warm while keeping the bedrooms cool and the pillows on the thick side.

It was our first stay at this property and arrival, as well as check-in were straightforward and quick. Everything was clean and appropriately furnished. Since we arrived in the low season, everything was very empty and private in our area, which we really liked. The campsite itself is one of the most beautiful and comfortable we have ever experienced. A nice restaurant, a boat and bike rental are included and a great swimming pool with slides and play area. We had a great week and definitely want to come back. Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

Perfect for campers.... Everything the camper heart needs was available... Caravan was clean.... furnished with a lot of love...Quiet campsite... Great little place

We had a great time staying with Annemieke and Kars and would always book the place again and again. Great and very clean apartment with nice and helpful hosts!

Cozy and compact gypsy wagon with a nice outdoor seat (in the sun) and a great bed. For cooking, you can go to the spacious and clean camping kitchen with dining garden tables, two sofas and a fireplace. Nice that we could also buy (organic) plants! The communication with Lieske was excellent and she was quick to respond. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay around New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing again on New Year's Day. The Hogeland is beautiful and we definitely want to come back to this area. The accommodation was fine and the contact with Johanna was excellent. She even came to bring oliebollen and knees on New Year's Day.

My stay in this house was excellent. From the first moment, everything was clean and well cared for, exactly as in the photos. There were no surprises, just a cozy and perfectly maintained space. Before I came, I read a negative review that made me doubt a little, but after my experience here, I can say with total certainty that it has nothing to do with reality. The house is impeccable, cozy and very quiet, ideal for resting and disconnecting. The village is beautiful, with charming and quiet streets. In the village everyone has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, which has made my stay even more enjoyable. Finally, I want to highlight the hospitality of the host and his family. From the first moment, they were attentive and helpful, always available for anything you might need. It is a real pleasure to find hosts so committed to the well-being of their guests. Definitely recommend this house I would definitely go back!

Lovely place with all the amenities and fully stocked. You don’t need to bring anything except toothbrush! Coffee is also provided. And if you are lucky you will get to play with the very happy doggy. If you’re really lucky you’ll see a beautiful starry night. Highly recommend this place.

Super luxurious bnb, easy to communicate and helpful if needed. Cottage has everything needed, warmth , space, tranquility. Sometimes the shower didn't get hot after three showers/bath ( water heater!). And I missed egg cups and beer and shot glasses. Greetings family Vis

The cottage of Marloes on the outskirts of the place is a wonderful place to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You can cycle to the sea, walk in the dunes or hike to the Boschplaat nature reserve. The house is cozy and has a very nice sleeping place with a cozy wide bed under the roof. It is well equipped for cooking and has a very nice bathroom. The equipment is basic, individual and tasteful and fits the island very well with the many maritime details. You can reach Marloes quickly, but lives completely privately. The bus stops right near the house, so you can reach all the places of the island either by bike or by bus and also shopping well. I liked the tranquility and the vastness of the landscape the best. I would very much like to come back and can recommend the Eilandhuisje to anyone who likes quiet places with a lot of atmosphere!

Stayed here with a group of 10. It was perfect in terms of space and location! Quiet area to relax and unwind. Benjamin gave us tips for fun walks. Had a great stay!

A few days are allowed to stay in the container cottage in the back of Vera and Remco's garden. It was wonderful. Enjoyed the unloading area/forest a few minutes walk away and a day ice skating in Thialf where we can cycle within 5 minutes. We had read in previous reviews that it could be cold in the winter, but it was fine for us to get and keep warm!
