Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nes

Justus & Heleen's house is absolutely fantastic, the photos don't do it justice as it is larger and better equipped than described. Extremely comfortable and for us ideally situated being only 10 minutes drive from the Medemblik Regatta Center where we were sailing. The area is peaceful, and local supermarkets excellent as well as a local restaurant serving good food. We will be back soon!

The place is in a great location and offers a silence that is like no other. Really excellent for a secluded getaway! We had booked the accommodation spontaneously for one night, as our actual accommodation was overbooked. The owners responded incredibly quickly after we were able to contact them through the neighbors. Without their intervention, we wouldn't have known where to find a place to stay that night. So we had a nice family vacation. Thank you and best regards!

Jenneke is very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing relaxing time and hopefully can come back some day. The house is spacious with a nice outside area, weather permitting. I just love Dwingeloo.

We had an amazing weekend stay at the tiny house. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature, with sounds of birds, and what feels like a private little spa. The place is amazing with lots of beautiful walks to do.

We had a wonderful stay at Nic's place -- we were a group of 10 people and the house felt more than big enough for everyone. Everything that we needed was right there, all the instructions were super clear and it was the perfect backdrop to our 1920s murder mystery game. We didn't really get to see much of the surrounding area because the house was so much fun to hang out it (and we were feeling lazy). The highlight for us was definitely the massage chair and jacuzzi bath -- so so relaxing!!

We had a really great time at Hari's & Saskia's place. Beautiful house, with a lot of space, a big meeting room for our team outing, and many features. We really enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen, using the hot tub, the fireplace and the great surroundings in a very peaceful area of the Netherlands! We absolutely loved the place and Hari and Saskia were always there to answer questions and recommend what to do around the area!

The calmest and coziest little getaway cottage you could find! We had such an incredible time in Annedoor's sweet house. There is a designated parking spot that could fit our van, we were greeted to a lovely and warm house on an extremely cold January weekend (the two stoves are perhaps the centerpiece of the house - so warm and easy to manage. My boyfriend wanted to build a fire, I was happy to use the more modern stove). The house is perfect - there is so much space, all the amenities you could possibly need. We enjoyed a great selection of CDs and records with a lovely sound system. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need - we made some fresh pasta and pancakes (there's even stroop provided!). Full collection of games to play, books to read if you forgot them. The house was absolutely spotless, there's some lovely national parks closeby and there are two supermarkets only a 5 min drive away. Highly recommend. Thanks Annedoor :)

Pretty little and cozy cottage, which is very nicely located if you like to stay in nature. We felt right at home. The amenities were great, we lacked nothing. The landlady was friendly, approachable at any time and always there for us. We will be happy to come back.

We spent 6 nights with our two dogs at Marc's place and felt at home during that time. Marc is a great host who is always easily accessible; Bea visited us and helped us with questions. The small house is cozily furnished and very well equipped. We didn't lack anything. We loved sitting on the cozy veranda and enjoyed the great view. The surroundings are quiet, there is a lot of nature and there are many easily accessible excursion destinations nearby. Marc also provides bicycles and a boat, which we did not use. All in all, we were thrilled, enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back.

What a nice place to stay during this period. Everything is available, quiet and in the morning with your coffee in the sun. You can tell by the layout and design: what guests need has been thought about. Located between two natural parks and the Fochteloerveen, a 20-minute drive away, Diever is an ideal base for hiking. And also plenty of restaurants open now. Drenthe is on our list for repetition. Thanks Niek and Joke

It was very nice to stay with Annie. It has a nice, clean neighboring apartment. It is very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately not a real kitchen. That also means no stove or oven to prepare something. But for a short stay we didn't miss that. There was a delicious breakfast, which was left in the next room. If you like, you can also bring your favorites and have a delicious breakfast. The apartment has direct access to the garden which we could not use because of the cold. Man has his peace despite the proximity of the owner. A beautiful apartment. We would definitely recommend the place.

The apartment is located perfectly in a beautiful street close to the city center. There are enough sleeping spaces, the garden and the kitchen are very pretty and everything was clean and as described. We would come back at any time!

Very nice apartment in a great location right on the harbor. We felt very comfortable in Blokzijl and in Hans apartment. Very comfortable bed and nice big bathroom. The fridge was stocked with food for a first breakfast as well as some drinks and fruit. Good parking right next to the house. Small point of criticism: we also found the apartment a little clairaudient. Apart from that, highly recommended

We stayed in the cottage for the 2nd time and as always, we were very satisfied. The location is great, the amenities too and we enjoyed the 2 weeks. Thank you very much.

We had a very nice stay at Henk & Trea's place. The place had everything we needed for a relaxing few days and was just right for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surroundings are very beautiful and thanks to the private terrace overlooking nature all around, it was easy to start the day in the morning and watch deer with luck. The chalet is really very lovingly decorated and cozy. That's why it wasn't bad that we weren't lucky with the weather. Henk was very accommodating, helpful, and always available. All in all we had a very nice holiday and definitely recommend the place! Thank you for everything :)

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

We had a great time staying with Annemieke and Kars and would always book the place again and again. Great and very clean apartment with nice and helpful hosts!

Small cozy chalet with great value for money. Good access to hiking and biking routes as well as quite close to the beach. Check-in was very easy via the reception at the campsite. Wi-Fi and TV worked properly. Also recommended is the Indian restaurant at the main entrance to the campsite. All in all a great holiday with two people.
