Wood Owl Cottage in Sitoli, Uttarakhand, is truly a hidden gem. Sanjay, the ever-thoughtful and warm superhost, has created a space that feels like home, with every corner telling its own story. His passion for curating meaningful experiences shines through every detail. The cottage is beautifully lit, well-ventilated, and thoughtfully equipped, offering all the comforts you need. The caretaker, a humble and kind soul, is also a fantastic cook, adding another layer of warmth to the experience. We spent a long weekend here and couldn’t have asked for more. We’ve been raving about it to friends and family ever since and are already planning to visit again in a month or two. It has been an absolute pleasure to stay at The Quite Place. The name says it all, and pictures don’t do full justice as it’s much more beautiful than the pictures. We had an amazing and peaceful stay. It never felt that we were away from home. Everyone was extremely helpful. The food was amazing and service was top notch. Will definitely visit the Quite place again. Kudos to Chetan, Ankush and team for being such amazing and gracious hosts.

The property is a fully furnished 2BHK Flat. The kitchen consists of all the modern working cooking amenities. 24 Hrs Hot water is available. The host is responsive and always ready to offer extra help when needed. Pankaj never let us down with our additional requests. The furniture’s are neat and clean and well maintained. They don’t have a restaurant which is understandable but have nearby good restaurants. Though they may take around an hour to deliver. Overall value for money. The surrounding is peaceful. The final path to the property is a bit steep so a someone with good driving skill would be recommended.

We had a 3 week stay and it was just fabulous! The balcony is the best part of the house. The view from balcony is much much better than what you get to see in pictures. We kept thinking if we could extend our stay. No one in my family felt like going back. House has great positive vibes! Bushra is truly an awesome host. She was always available for almost all the things whenever required during our 3 week stay! I certainly want to go back and stay in the same house in near future. If u want to stay away from hustle bustle of the city yet close to move around by car and see all the tourist place then this is the place to be in! I had an amazing stay at Vipin’s place for 3 days with my family. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing us with a taxi driver’s contact, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The property was spotless and situated in a beautiful location with stunning views. It was spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our group, offering both comfort and ease throughout our stay. I highly recommend staying at Vipin’s place—it’s truly a gem, and the thoughtful touches made all the difference. We can’t wait to visit again!

Nice place to stay with your family and friends. On the highway which makes it very easy to reach. Also parking is just at home stay very easy to park. Usually in hills you don't get a good place to park your car. Suraj and Ranjeet are show makers there so quick to respond and very very kind enough to wake up early in the morning to help us check out.

The place was exactly like photos and all the amenities were there it felt just like my own home, the host was amazing and extremely helpful, I would greatly recommend this place if you are looking for home with all the facilities and a peaceful environment.

The place is great and the view is amazing. The food is good too and pretty reasonable. The path to the place is a bit tricky but otherwise all great.

It is a lovely place which has all the amenities while you travel with family & kids. The host is extremely helpful and proactive in responding. We just stayed for a night while we visited Kainchi dham and it was just 20 minutes drive from there. Just one suggestion for Vandana that you must mention in your listing about this flat being on the 2nd floor and you have to climb stairs with luggage. It may be difficult for elderly guests. But rest everything is seamless and feels like you are right at home!

This place is beautiful... Private and peaceful... We got some much needed rest and relaxation... All touristy spots are a short drive away, but the place itself is very quiet and beautiful... The caretakers are very sweet, polite and helpful... Special thanks to Ranjeet who took very good care of us... We traveled with our two dogs, and they had such a wonderful time too... The place is very clean, has all amenities and the food they serve is also very fresh and homely... Overall a 10/10.

The place is appropriate for a couple. It is very cozy and comfortable. The owner is very accommodating. Hansi aunty and Bhuvan were very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed cooking and spending time in the balcony. There is also a small general store downstairs. Nice place.

My stay at this cozy mountain property was an absolute delight. The interior of the place was beautiful and made it felt like a home away from home. The property location is amazing, so calm and peaceful amidst of mountains. One should definitely take a walk down the village there for beautiful views. The host was super responsive and friendly. Went to Kainchi Dham with a friend and staying at Anurag's Airbnb was the best decision and great value proposition. Place is exactly as described. Location - Awesome in a nicely maintained secured society overlooking lush green mountains. Easy access to Kainchi Dham and Nainital. Property - Beautifully designed, spacious and well-maintained property. Great interiors with comfortable furnishings and modern amenities. Clean and comfortable bedrooms with attached bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, high speed internet, comfortable spacious living n dining room, large TV with all OTTs. Host - Quite warm and responsive. Helped in all possible manners. Provided great local recommendations. Went an extra mile and arranged meals for us as well.

Overall we had an very good experience there and the place would be suitable for 2-3 guest easily. -Nice location and reachable from nearby market. -Rajesh (Caretaker) hosted us there and he was very helpful for any queries. -We had our own parking space which was a + point for stay. -In my opinion the flat was located on higher floor and we need to access it through stairs itself which can be mentioned in bnb in the property as there might be old age people who can’t climb without lift. They can plan their stay accordingly. -For drinking water I believe something more can be done. During our stay the bottle (bisleri) was provided which was already opened, might have filled with regular water. (Consider your flat is new I’m expecting R.O would get instanalled someday in future) -Very nice experience :) Thanks to Sushil.
