Monthly Rentals in Nanwalek

Everything was exactly as described. Just needed a place for the night after deciding to stay in Homer last minute and it was a fun little adventure. The ladder up to the loft is steep and the outhouse is around back so just keep that in mind if you are someone who has to get up in the night 😉

Jonathan's apartment suited the two of us for a weeks stay perfectly. The couple of things that were not quite right at checkin, Jonathan had corrected literally in half an hour. We had very little awareness of anyone in the unit above. Clean, comfortable and the view coming down the hill each day is worth the rent alone!

Guy knew our plans to have a Christmas getaway with granddaughter for the Nutcracker ballet and making gingerbread house together. He made sure we had everything we needed for our adventure. And then came the unpredictable snowstorm that blew out all power. He chedked with the local electric company and there were downed power lines. We had to relocate . Winter storm outage was no fault of his but he acted with grace and concern for us. Guy made sure we were fully reimbursed and checked on us and our gingerbread project the next day. Best hospitality ever. That kind of extra is rarely found. Looking forward to trying out the place for a stay next time.

What can I say? What a view!!! Can’t beat waking up in the morning, getting a cup of coffee and enjoy the amazing view across Kachemak Bay. A bunny or two may even hop around you for your amusement. The cottage was clean and tidy, perfect space for 1-2 people. Highly recommend!
