Apartment holiday rentals in Nantan

It was near the busy streets of Kyoto, but still in a quiet and private atmosphere. It was unfortunately very rainy when we stayed, but the accommodation is private enough to keep the entrance and surroundings dry, it’s pretty enclosed which is a plus. The room can be quite tight for two people, but it is manageable if you’re outside exploring most of the time anyways. It’s a great stay for travelers who want to be near the center of Kyoto. Definitely recommended!

I stayed quietly and stayed calmly. It was a private private room with everything you need and a clean private room, and I had an experience living in Kyoto. I felt the host's hospitality, such as detailed messaging, where the lighting remote was located, fixtures, and house rules books. Kenkuko Shrine in front of the building opens up a great view and takes a walk in the well-maintained forest. It was the autumn foliage season, so I was able to see the contrast of the wonderful trees and the sky. There are many traditional Japanese food shops, food shops, Japanese sweets shops, coffee shops, restaurants, public baths, temples and shrines, historical sites in the neighborhood. I rented a bicycle, so I was able to reach areas such as Demachiyanagi and Ichijoji Temple. Kinkakuji Temple, Ninnaji Temple, Koryuji Temple, and Kamigamo Shrine are also within walking distance by bicycle. We would definitely stay again if we get the chance. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for a month and loved it! JR line right down the street that goes right to Kyoto station. Busses nearby with access to all over the city + shrines. Great for tourists and great for people living long term locally since it's surrounded by a bunch of fantastic restaurants and has a grocery store directly infront of the house. It made my Kyoto stay very nice. One of the cleanest places I've stayed as well! The only downside I can think of is that it's on a road with a hospital just a few minutes away so there were quite a few ambulances in the area so it made sleeping with the door open kind of difficult but that is not a fault of the home at all. Would definitely recommend to friends and family in the future!

At first we did not find the apartment because Google Maps showed us the opposite side of the street, but thanks to the lions in front of the entrance we were able to find everything quickly. The location is good if you want to mainly be in the city center, e.g. Nintendo Kyoto is right next door. It was clearly the worst apartment during our trip through Japan but still totally fine. Especially the quick check-in help with flexible check-in time was extremely helpful. There is also a Family Mart right next door. For things to do and all sights, you have to change trains, but everything is still in the frame. Were very satisfied.

Nice and clean apartment, very convenient location to discover the city with the train station nearby. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. 7/11 on the street.

The place was exactly as described. It was very close to the shin-Osaka station and very clean as a studio apartment with 2 separate beds. It also had a nice view on the 9th floor but the neighborhood was almost too quiet. Very little commercial activity on that side of the train station. But very easy to travel to the more fun areas.

It was my first time using airbnb, but I had a very pleasant time! When I contacted the owner about any questions in advance, they handled it politely. The location was also very easy to understand, and the station was chica and convenient.The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had a very pleasant time. The appliances were also provided, which was helpful. I plan to stay in Osaka again, so I will stay here again in the future!!

Very nice place!Good coffee shops and restaurants within 100 meters.The famous Nishiki market is just 2 minutes away.Overall check-in is very satisfactory, the room is a bit small and suitable for two people, our family of four is somewhat crowded, the rest is very convenient.

Joe's mom was incredibly welcoming and made check-in a breeze. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, plus some! The neighborhood was serene, with a park and convenience store just a short walk away. We were also delighted to find ourselves near fantastic kaiseki restaurants and izakayas. There's also the amazing Goodman Roaster right across the street!

This was such an amazing place to stay. Right next door to a beautiful temple and within a short walk to the geisha district and the Nishiki Market. The inside was beautifully renovated and it was right above a convenience store and next door to a wonderful little Teppanyaki place. The train station was a 7 minute walk and that will take you any where you want to go. I cannot recommend it highly enough, a wonderful stay!

We had an early check-in and our host received us with a warm cup of tea. Gave us local recommendations and showed us how to get around. It was really close to the Kyoto station and a comfortable place to stay in.

We had a wonderful family stay at this apartment in Kyoto with our two kids. Andrea & Mayumi were fantastic—always available and incredibly helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. The location is perfect, within walking distance of so many attractions, which made exploring with the kids super easy. The tatami beds were incredibly comfortable, and the thick, warm comforters were a real treat during the winter, making it feel cozy and relaxing at the end of each day. The balcony was also a highlight, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy the beautiful view over the water. Highly recommend for visiting Kyoto!

Great location and very close to multiple key locations (walk to Gion, Nishiki market is <10 mins away, a lot of the temples are nearby).

Ty's place was perfect for me: just a few minutes away from the Monorail and then the Osaka University Toyonaka Campus, it was the ideal solution to minimize commuting in a very busy and crowded area. Hotarugaike Hankyu station comes with its many convenience stores and food markets, where I could shop daily and come back to Ty's apartment and prepare some dinner. The apartment is very nice and clean and easy to handle. Wi-fi excellent and so heating. Only thing, I was not able to tackle directly the garbage management, apparently rather complex also for locals, and had to rely on the Ty's and co-hosts' kindness and help on that matter. I didn't particularly matter the hustle and bustle of the many Hankyu trains coming and going also late in the evening, but some people may do. For me it was a great experience, and I hope, should my working engagements bring me back to Osaka Daigaku, to have another few days over there.

Highly recommend! I will stay again if I come to Kyoto.

Great place however wasn’t aware washing machine and dryer was paid and shared. Also had to pay 200pp/night for accommodation tax

I stayed at the university entrance examination.It was close to the station, and it was a very good environment.

It was cozy, so it was nice to stay alone. There is karaoke below, but it wasn't noisy. Most of all, it was nice that they responded kindly to my inquiries.

Enjoyed a comfortable stay, and the location was great! Very close to the train station, which made it easy to tour around the city.

Kana is a great host. This location was so nice that it made me want to stay forever (lol). It's a cozy apartment with nice amenities, a 7 Eleven and pharmacy right around thecorner, plenty of food options, and a 15-20 minute walk to Shin-Osaka station. I would definitely stay again. :)

Super great house, near Kyoto station, bus stop in front of the door, convenient transportation.There is also a kitchen where you can cook, and there is a big supermarket on the side.We sent our luggage to the apartment in advance and helped us sign and put it in the room, and it was very convenient for self check-in.Compared to the hotel, there is more space and it is also free and comfortable.Great value for money and I would recommend to anyone!

I had a very nice stay in this city, the small apartment was very nice as was the neighborhood. It was great location to be able to visit/ sail around on foot or by transport. Supermarkets or restaurants were quick to walk to.
