Cabin holiday rentals in Nancy Lake

Nestled in the hills of Wasilla, this little A-frame is beautifully built and maintained. Though there is a cabin next door, a fence separates the two and I wouldn’t have even known someone else was there if I didn’t see a car at the other cabin. Stocked with all the amenities you could want and need, you’ll feel right at home. Between the beautiful, open views for sunrises and northern lights, the hot tub, and the beautiful gas fireplace by the large, open windows in the living room, you’ll never want to leave!

It was a great location, easy to find. It was perfect for us, we went to have Thanksgiving with family. We did have a couple problems with the lock, Lindsay response was very quick and helpful. We will book again

We loved this lakehouse! It had a fabulous view of the lake, mountains, and the hot tub was glorious. The wood stove was such a nice touch to the living space and the kitchen was perfect for cooking and hanging out. Host had great instructions and was very responsive. We will definitely be booking again!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

This Airbnb was absolute perfection! Michelle was so responsive. We arrived to the house in the evening and they had the hot tub fired up for us. The house was so welcoming and had amazing amenities. We traveled with our toddler and I was so impressed with how family friendly the spot was. Our daughter loved the toys and the floor couch that she could easily curl up on. The projector to watch shows was also a treat! The selection of syrups with the espresso machine was fabulous and the kitchen had EVERYTHING! Seriously, such a fun kitchen to cook in. The location was perfect too, just a quick drive to Big Lake. We went ice skating around Big Lake and then made our way back to the house to soak and warm up! We can’t wait to go back!

We’re so lucky to have gotten to stay at this beautiful cabin! We made a last minute booking and Elise and Ben were very responsive and accommodating. The cabin was super clean and very well made. We barely touched the heater. The bed was really comfy and the sheets were so soft. I wish we could have stayed a couple extra days to hike about the property. We loved being greeted by the 2 goodest pups in the morning (although if dogs aren’t your thing, Elise made sure to reach out ahead of time to ask in case she needed to leash them). Will definitely be booking again next time we are visiting!

Beautiful, spacious home. My two friends and I spent Christmas Eve and Day here. Playing board games, cooking dinners, and relaxing in the hot tub. The lake was frozen but it would be cool to see it in the summer. Great stay. Would book again.

We opened the door…wow, instantly felt the vibe instantly: peaceful, chic, cozy, clean, calm. Quick responses, although not needed because everything is adequately described with this is here, this is there. We appreciate you hosting us at the cabin. We used this tranquil space to reconnect. So pretty.

Lovely place with lots of thoughtful features. We went for our anniversary and we have a bit of a funny (and accidental) tradition of staying in places with limited hot water. Delightfully, we broke that tradition here - all the hot water a person could desire! We really appreciated how pet-friendly it was; traveling with the doggos is so much easier when their presence isn't just permitted, but welcomed.

We had a beautiful stay in Alaska. The cabin was perfect for our needs. The location had a pond and a family of swan visitors every morning. The location was close the activities we wanted to enjoy. The cabin was decorated lovely, the bed was comfy and it had all the amenities we needed. We would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Nice little cabin off the beaten path :) quiet, clean, and comfy!

This is a wonderful private retreat where you can enjoy nature, and peace and quiet. The host responded quickly to every question that we had. Highly recommend!

The place was wonderful and the best stay we had in Alaska. Wish we had booked it for all days. The owner was very friendly and greeted us at check in. We arrived late at night and she provided us with a headlamp to use and a wagon for our luggage. Would definitely stay again. The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and had modern amenities. It was nice and private. Surrounded by nature and cabins were spread a good distance so they were not too close.

The place was great. The kitchen was amazing. It was great to have laundry on site. The Bathroom has a very nicely updated. The only issues we found while there—which was not the cabin’s fault— we both have bad backs, was the bed was not very comfortable – was the bed and the couch were not comfortable for us. If you’re old or have a bad back, maybe this isn’t the best for you. Otherwise this place was amazing!

Nicki’s place was just what we needed. A quiet place away from town.

Nanette's place is exactly what we were looking for during our trip to Alaska. We were secluded and "roughing it". There were some hiccups with the fridge, but Nanette was responsive and even willing to buy a new fridge if we could not get it working. By the second day we figured out how to keep it running. The property does lack some amenities that are commonplace in modern life such as running water but that was clear to us when we booked, and it provided us the off the grid experience we were looking for. Nanette was also sending me many recommendations for where to fish nearby. I recommend this property.

We had a great time staying at the yurt! Andrew was very helpful and friendly, assisting with starting the fire pit and providing some basic equipment for cooking over the fire. The location is excellent—we were lucky to see the aurora borealis and truly enjoyed being surrounded by nature. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway!

Amazing stay as always! This was our 3rd time staying and I can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place! The back yard is immaculate with lots of room for our pups to run. Thanks Scott for another amazing trip!

The property was private, and beautiful! Loved the location, dog sledding was only seven minutes down the road! Justin and Nikki were super responsive and great hosts. Would recommend this place to anyone.

This is our second stay in the cabins at AAU. The cabins are very nice, clean, and private. The continental breakfast is a big plus! Lots of choices. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Wasilla.

The wife and I were looking for a quick getaway and this did not disappoint! All Alaskan would appreciate the privacy but yet you can still have food delivered. Loved this cabin and was really impressed with the hard work that went into it to make you feel at home.

This cabin was very comfy and cozy, and we loved the decor that accompanied it. The cabin was exactly as pictured in the photos, and had an ample supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dishes, flatware, pots, and pans, linens and comforters. There was also board games and books available for easy-going entertainment. We have caged birds, and were especially grateful that the hosts allowed us to bring them along, only asking of us that we clean up after them (not too much to ask for!). We would happily stay here again, and had a very pleasant experience. :)
