Yoshinao is a great host and has been very responsive. The location is good. Not far from the train station, historic site or the hot spring. Will come back and stay at Yoshinao’s house if possible.

My husband and I stayed at Toshi and Hiromi's place for one month in Jan-Feb. It was the perfect base to work online while taking day trips to snowboard in the local mountains. The location near the temple is so peaceful and the 25-min walk to downtown down the main street is lovely. There's an incredible produce shop 2 minutes away and plenty of restaurants within 10-15 min walk. The house is spacious and super comfortable. Heaters/AC in every room, humidifiers, good wifi. No smart TV, but there's an HDMI cord so you can connect Netflix etc. via your laptop. The kitchen has everything (except an oven) you could ever need. Toshi and Hiromi are the best hosts! My only negative point is I wished the mattress wasn't so hard. You can feel the springs. This could easily be fixed with a foam topper. We miss this place already and would love to come back again. We live in Airbnbs year-round - this is one of the best we've ever experienced.

We absolutely loved our stay at third house, everything was so easy, check in was fantastic and they were super helpful with absolutely everything. Great food nearby, walkable to zenkoji, many cute stores and great coffee. We used it as a base to hike the beautiful togakushi shrine route. I’d stay at this place again in a heartbeat and in fact was sad to leave. We will return! Thankyou kindly
