Waterfront holiday rentals in Muonio

It is a very peaceful environment and cosy cabin. You have to be careful when going down to the river's swimming spot, but there is a rope to make it easier and 2m from the bank, you hit a large sandy spot, perfect for submerging yourself after sauna and quite agreeable for the feet! The owner gave clear instructions and always answered within an hour to our questions. Overall really happy with our stay :)

Thank you to Harri and Marko for this amazing week! The place is peaceful and the house is perfectly equipped. Marko was really friendly and give us lot of tips. With his help, we had the chance to see a group of reindeers! We would be back soon! Thank you!

Words cannot describe the hospitality and friendliness of Teemu. Starting off with a fantastic dinner, Teemu cooked traditional Lappish cuisine. The next day, he gave us great tips for activities in the area, and on our last day, we booked a snowmobile tour with him, where he took us deep into the wilderness of Lapland. Cooking over an open fire in the wilderness and learning about him and the way he lives up here in the north was just the perfect ending to this special trip. Thanks, Teemu! Had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The host was communicative and made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect, and the space felt comfortable and inviting. Would definitely stay here again! My favorite part was that hot water and being able to see the northern lights from The back yard !

We had an awesome stay with 4 people. You need a car to get to the house but there is no light pollution so you just need to step out of the door to see the northern lights :) supermarkets were not far away, about 10-15 Minutes by car. It was beautiful to have this vast snowy landscape and the forest on the other side of the river (which is frozen in winter and you can walk on) is also very nice to walk through. We wera allowed to use wood for the oven and the sauna. It was just a cozy accomodation and our winter vacation was like in a picture book. Thank you for everything! :)

We spent our honeymoon at this beautiful cottage. Marja has always been responsive whether it's ahead of the trip for preparation or during the stay. She recommended many places for us and we were never disappointed! As for the chalet, it is perfect, comfortable and functional (apart from the absence of a shower). It's well laid out and the nature around it's magical. The listing photos are good but the chalet is even better in real life! It was a really fantastic week that will have left a mark on us forever

We loved our time here! The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed, it was in a beautiful surrounding with forests and a large frozen lake next to it. The location is very quiet and we saw the northern lights right outside our balcony. Can definitely recommend this place! Only one thing can be improved - we had breakfast included but unfortunately there were no vegan options available.

My family and I stayed at the villa in Katja for two nights, it was a great memory, the villa had a high privacy, nice view, and there was no light at all around, when you walk out of the villa at night, the stars full of the sky, luck to see the aurora, also thank you Katja for showing us her farm when we checked in, feeding the reindeer was a great experience for kids and adults, 2 days is not enough, next time will have the chance to organize a holiday here, thank you very much Katja, I had a chance to see you again

An absolute insider tip! If you stay at Villa Sivakka, you don't want to leave there again. The location is unique, the cabin fantastic, that large panoramic seating window is incredible and sleeping in it is a dream. We particularly liked the fact that we were able to stay so freely in the privacy of Juha. There was really everything you need for a successful stay. We will be happy to come back.
