There is a bus stop less than 20 metres away and short Uber to Ponsonby - in fact I often walk there in 60mins. There is a bush walk directly across the road that has a waterfall. If you want to stay in the best part of Devonport this is as good as it gets , a few steps from the best beach in Auckland . An idyllic stay in a charming villa extension hosted by a super host . Fresh fruit on the table and milk in the fridge a very nice and welcome touch. . A perfect stay thank you :-)

We stayed there for one month and really enjoyed our time at this beautiful bus. The kitchen outside is very cool and it was really fun to spent so much time at this silent, natural place. The check in and check out was very simple and flexible. We were always able to contact Gerry even when we were away and he also gave us helpful tips :)

Great place, and although the interior design had obviously been very artistically thought out and put together, we felt that it fell a little short on practicality. Worktops both in the kitchen and bathroom were stone tiles which, given time, would most likely give the hosts problems with cleaning. Bathroom door kept creeping open - needs a little hook or something similar. Bed was very comfy, and although the chairs were reasonably comfortable, would have preferred a sofa or couch - but it is clear in the listing that there wasn't one. Shower was great! We also went in the 'shoulder season' so unfortunately, the pool, whilst beautiful and immaculately clean, was far too cold for our old bones! But don't let me put you off - the hosts are very lovely people and their little dog is a darling! Nice place to stay, all in all.

The place was what we needed where we needed it. We got everything we wanted for the time: comfortable beds and the kids had a great time in the yard, not getting bored. Bussing to town and getting everything organized worked like a charm. Parking was available in the place was quiet and safe.

We have had the most amazing time staying at the villa, it was even better than the photos. The house was absolutely beautiful, huge and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable with beautiful linen, the kitchen had lovely tableware, an amazing coffee machine and everything we needed and the pool was just the best fun! Channy was extremely responsive to messages and made out check in and check out very easy. Thank you so much Channy we will definitely love to stay here again!
