Monthly Rentals in Moturoa Island

Sad to leave this glorious hideaway- absolutely stunning views over the beach and the bay! Felt welcomed right away, and grateful to have time to unwind in these surroundings. The wraparound decks with plenty of seats to choose from, the sound of the ocean, it was just wonderful. Wish we had more time. Clive was super helpful and welcoming! Would recommend to anyone looking to get off the beaten track and find a truly hidden gem in the Bay of Islands.

We had a wonderful stay at Douglas's place. It is very close to the beach, has great views, and it's very clean and comfortable. If anything, the description and photos on Airbnb don't do it justice! It's really a perfect place for a holiday. Douglas (and his brother William) is an amazing host who took us on a successful kiwi spotting walk in our first night! Top class hospitality in a beautiful part of the world.

Marilyn’s place was great!! Spacious, clean well thought of things! Plenty of parking. A bit of a hike over the hill to paihia centre , especially late at night but we took the car( with a sober driver!!) Will definitely come again, my friends we came with agreed!!!

We booked Christine’s place without much notice but it turned out to be an amazing find. Was very quiet and peaceful, clean studio with great views. Christine recommended a picnic box company that we used who did a really good job, generous and good quality products. She also supplies red torches which you can use to go kiwi spotting in the neighbourhood. We tried out Jim’s path just around the corner of the studio and luck would have it we spotted a kiwi within 5-10 minutes, spent a bit of time with it then it was on its way. Very enjoyable stay overall, loved Russell and its surrounds. Thanks Christine.
