Cottage holiday rentals in Mornington

We had a gorgeous few days at Florence's beach house over the school holidays. It was the perfect base for a friend and I to explore with the kids in tow. Somers is such a hidden gem and Florence's place is well positioned walking distance to the beach and the delightful Sommers General store - great coffee and all the gourmet provisions you need for your stay. Also very easy location to explore other Peninsula highlights such as the Hot Springs and Enchanted Adventure at Arthurs seat! The beach house was gorgeous t come home to- really nicely styled and big bush block and outdoor fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next trip!

Wendy and Ray's place was absolutely divine, the photos do not do it justice. It was peaceful, quiet and so well thought out; from the great variety of appliances, cupboard lighting, the gardens, outdoor bath and having power outlets cleverly placed all throughout the home. It really is the little things that count. This has been one of my favourite stays in Mornington Peninsula.

Loved staying at this beautiful home in Somerset. Nice short walk to the beach, park and cafe. We loved an evening in the spa, watching all the birds as the sun was setting. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

We had a lovely stay! The host was very nice and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great—it's within a kid-friendly hotel, and we were able to access the hotel facilities, which was a big plus for our family. Everyone enjoyed the stay, and we'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay! Very close to the hotsprings which is what our holiday needed. Lovely place with great amenities and very close to the beach! The neighbourhood was also really beautiful and quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return soon.

We absolutely loved staying at Madeleine's place. The pictures don't do it justice! Madeleine was great to message and provided us with some welcome treats. Great beaches and walks are so close and so many great places to eat nearby. The fact that we could bring our dog too was fantastic. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location, easy walk to the beach, close to both Cowes and the Penguin Parade. Exactly as described and host was very responsive.

We had a great time at this place on our little family getaway. The property was exactly as described and bigger than the photos depicted. We played with the board games and enjoyed movies, and were pleasantly surprised with a free bottle of wine. The place was walking distance to the beach and only a short drive from Cowes, and an even shorter drive from the Penguin Parade. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. We LOVED our stay at Kay’s summer house. We got wonderful holiday vibes from the moment we stepped inside the cute cottage - and our pups loved the large fenced in backyard. The house was super clean and easily the most well appointed and equipped Airbnb so far!

From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the beautiful gardens, lovely long verandah and wonderful interior. The house was really comfortable and spacious. The garden was very dog friendly. The kitchen was excellent for home cooking and everything was tidy and clean. The games, books and puzzles were a great addition. There was plenty to do and we loved visiting wineries, the olive farm and local beaches. Andrew was a helpful and friendly host. We really enjoyed every moment and are already making plans to visit again. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We had a great time. Penny is a great host and the place is great for exploring the peninsula. The location is perfect, only minutes walk to all the amenities including a local library, cinema, various shops and lovely beaches. Our puppy loved going to the beach and played in the water. Penny’s place is great value for money. The people in town were just so friendly to us. I highly recommend Penny’s place.

Gorgeous home, and easy to get in and out. Lots of utensils, a hot iron for clothes, bathtub, heating for ground floor and drop-dead gorgeous location.

We loved our stay at the cottage! it looked even better than the photos, felt so cosy and was litteraly in front of the beach. Self check-in made the all experience easier, and value for price is great. We'll definitely be back

Property had everything we needed and more. Was the perfect spot to have getting ready photo for our wedding and come back to after. Only a short distance from our venue and Mornington town center. Hosts we very accomodating and responded quickly to all messages. Beautiful property, would happily stay again.

The perfect Phillip Island beach house. Plenty of space, very short walk to the beach, great outdoor area for the kids. Lots of games, puzzles, etc for indoor time. Really well equipped kitchen. Clean and just had everything we needed! Brian was an excellent host, great info, very responsive. Couldn’t have asked for more. A great experience. Plus we love this part of the Island, so we’ll be back when we can.

Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful views of the water, looks even nicer than the pictures and the house is fully stocked with everything you could want for a nice weekend on Phillip Island. We watched the water, wallabies, bunnies and birds from the deck, ventured into town a bit, saw the penguins and koalas and had an all around great time. Debbie graciously offered us a late check out and left us some nice goodies for our arrival. Would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Tertias cottage. It was gorgeous and very stylishly decorated. The artwork was amazing! Just beautiful 😍
