Beachfront holiday rental in Montezuma

This is a nice little spot to stay at. Josette is awesome, very attentive and kind. She lives in the unit below. The unit is extremely close to the beach and is spotless/kept very clean. It comes with tons of bath and beach towels. The outdoor kitchen is a nice touch and is cool enough at night to get cooking. Great stove, nice fridge… more than equipped in the kitchen. Air conditioning is brand new and wifis as fast as I’ve seen in CR. Heater water… Definitely recommend for remote work… nice patio to hang out on. One caveat, this is in a busy part of town, so it can be a little hectic down at the main road near the unit. If you’re looking for a super quiet and isolated holiday, this might not be the right spot, but for most people it’ll work nicely and is near to all the action. Lastly- one nice touch is the electronic gate. If you have a car or ATV this is very very convenient. Thanks Josette for the hospitality! Pura vida.

Carlie has very responsive and solved every issue that came up. The place is very family friendly and the kids loved the rooms, the pool, and the location. We highly recommend it as a family vacation home. Thanks to Carlie and Cameron! We had a great time.

Joseph’s property is a serene, peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and just a five-minute walk to the ocean. The tranquil setting and nature’s beauty made it the perfect escape for New Year's Eve. One highlight was meeting Macho, the friendly “guardian” dog, who quickly became a cherished part of our stay. Joseph’s hospitality was exceptional—he was kind, responsive, and even made us delicious homemade pizza one evening. We had a small misunderstanding about bringing two dogs instead of one, but Joseph was incredibly understanding and welcomed both with open arms. The property itself was well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with inviting outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature. Our only minor issue was a missed cleaning service, but Joseph apologized and offered to reschedule, though it was too close to our departure to be worthwhile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d love to return!

Casa Anna was an Amazing place to stay. Plenty of space and nice sunsets. Cleaning service and recommendations provided. Highly recommend. You don't wanna miss out.

beautiful country setting, waking up each day to the roosters, other birds, howler monkeys and cows. we definitely needed the car to get around. the house manager, Trino, and Alberto, the owner, were both super friendly, accommodatingl and responsive.

The AirBnB and location are excellent. The hosts and the care taker are very friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful time at Casa Vida Azul. The beach is walking distance and there are lots of things to do within 15-20min driving distance. The house was perfect for two families (4 adults and three kids).

We spent an amazing month here! The hosts were quick to respond if needed, and the entire community was beautiful. The house itself is exactly like the pictures. Great kitchen, beautiful backyard, and very clean. Comfortable beds, and nice showers. Short walk to an almost private beach. So much nature just in the community itself. Many species of birds, manta ray sightings, deer, goats, turtles and cayman. The store on the property has everything you might need, and is reasonably priced. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home; we hope to return soon!

We loved our stay at Casas de Soleil (Mirador). Our group of 7 was extremely comfortable and well taken care of the entire stay. Soraya was super responsive and provided local recommendations, transportation, and everything we could have needed during our stay. The villa is huge, beautiful, and very private. We loved hanging by the pool, cooking in the kitchen, and watching sunsets from the upstairs deck. 10/10 place to stay in Santa Teresa. Short walk to the best restaurants, cafes, and the beach. We loved our stay!!

It's the 2nd time we stayed in this place, and I can only thank Rick for his kindness and patience always. The place is just as beautiful, comfortable and cared for as we had found it 1 year ago. I have recommended this place to several people without fear. Excellent for relaxing with the family, including children. Our stay was 10/10 Thank you!

Beautiful place, peaceful!!

The house was exactly as described. Beutifull Garden, View, full nature. Room was really good. The only thing to have in mind is the montezuma main road really close to the house, so, sadly, many vehicles there and it could be noisy some times. Beyong that, our stay was amazing. Many thanks to our host.

This place was one of the most magical places we have ever stayed! Anna was very informative about nearby restaurants and things to do. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rain shower was very refreshing! The kitchen was perfect with the large refrigerator, deep prep sink, very nice stove, very large beautiful wood kitchen table and lots of space. Freddy was an outstanding guy and went above expectations for keeping the house, pool and grounds perfect and well maintained. The views from the house and the beach in the back yard were breathtaking! The pool was a very appreciated extra that we enjoyed relaxing in the evenings. The hammocks were great for lounging and enjoying the sound of the waves crashing. We will be back very soon to stay in this place over and over again. Henry, the dog on the property was such a joy and lovely addition to our stay!

Fabulous bnb on the beach with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen and utensils. Two small groceries in the little town. We did well with a high clearance two wheel drive and the roads, while some are very curvy, from Liberia are paved until the last 2-3 miles. It took about 4 hours to drive from Liberia. Outdoor setting is fabulous, relaxing, on the beach, with hammock and chairs. Rocky for swimming but able to wade. Lots of great beaches within 30 minutes drive. Buy fish (tuna) from local place… it’s best I’ve had. People are very friendly and lots of great quaint places to eat in Cabuya, as well as Montezuma. Hiking, waterfalls, beaches, pina coladas, and chill time made for a great vacation. Jenny was great for making everything smooth.

The house was located in the heart of town but set away from the road so it felt very peaceful and private. Richard was super responsive and helpful with local recommendations.

Had an amazing stay. Beautiful place and location. Our three kids enjoyed the pool and tidal pools on the beach. Wouldn’t hesitate coming back.

April is a 5 star host that will go out of her way to make sure your stay is perfect. Her place, the Emerald Abode, is exactly as she described. Absolutely stunning views that pictures can't do justice to. You can see the ocean from your pillow! This is one of my favorite airbnbs that I have stayed at. When I make it back to Santa Teresa, this will be the first place I will look for availability. Everything that you need for cooking meals is there. She has thought of everything and even had a refrigerator stocked with welcoming items which was greatly appreciated. Thank you so much April!
