Silvia was a wonderful host and the local groundskeepers were lovely as well. Silvia went above and beyond, helping us to communicate to the airline regarding our luggage that didnt arrive. the place was exactly as posted and an amazing value, and was perfect for what we needed. it was wonderfully located from all the sights, and perfectly secluded for our family with little kids. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Cosra Rica!

A good base to explore the other less touristy side of Arenal - especially for windsurfers. Designed for relaxation as well as a chance to get to know others. Helena was a very knowledgable host and is passionate about Costa Rica and all it has to offer.

Wonderful casita type lodging near Tabacón - loved how easy it was to stay here for great value and enjoy the thermal baths…..thank you for a wonderful stay.

Whau, what a magic place! Surrounded by nature and jungle view directly from your bed. The trees are touching your window, the birds are coming to the sweet little privat terrace with hammock. The room is cool to sleep, beds confortable ! We came by bus and it was no problem. The privat cabs charge 3000 colones per ride from the retreat to town. Its less than 10 min drive. Perfekt and profesional service, amazing breakfast(optional).we stayed just 2 nights but wished having stayed more. Higly recommanded ! Thank you William and Jonathan

It is a private residential and full of woods; privacy between houses is well raised. The casita has no words, it is small, cozy and MAGICAL,it has a beautiful design. It is completely surrounded by trees, plants and a river. It is magical. It does not have a TV, however IT IS NOT NECESSARY; you can cook, read, do yoga, meditate, do grounding, talk. An impressive place to rest if you work. We're in love, we'll definitely be back.

Great overnight stay for a family of four. The place was as described, 2 separate bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. The back room was darker and more quiet during the night compared to the room in the front. The communication with Roy was very good, all clear and swiftly responded. Roy's mom lives next by and welcomed us in spite of the evening hour, so the check in was quick and easy. There were birds in the morning in the garden which was nice.

It was the best Airbnb ever. The property is the most amazing tropical paradise that you could imagine. Beautiful flowers, shrubs, fruit trees, and a rock surrounded swimming pool. There’s even a lovely river running along the end of the property. The hosts are the sweetest, kindest couple and gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to visit. We plan to refer all our friends to this unique and beautiful home away from home.

My family and I had a great time at Juanita and Andrea's place, they gave us our space, they responded to all our requests quickly and efficiently and fulfilled everything offered on the page. Among other things to note, the beautiful, clean and organized space! It was wonderful!

I was lucky enough to stay here for a month and have a whole Tica experience. Not only were my accommodations wonderful with views next to the tops of the trees where I saw Toucans & other birds, but also mountains in the distance. I already miss the mornings rocking in one of 2 rocking chairs off the porch of my bedroom sipping my coffee as the sun rose. Mila loves to cook & taught me some cultural dishes. She went beyond being a renter, taking me to the market, inviting me to some gatherings & we shared a wonderful day in La Fortuna together. Staying here was a whole expeirence. I was traveling alone but I felt like one of the family. Marian cooked me some yummy plantains, her dog Milo was adorable. The pool was lovely, surrounded by gardens & has a lil table area to eat at with a mountain view. She helped arrange transport to the airport. I didn't want to leave, not only because of beautiful Costa Rica but also because of the friends I left behind. I can't wait to return again.

Natascha's place was great. You are only 5 minutes from the center of town. The neighborhood is quite and beautiful. The cabin is perfect for a couple. It was great to go on the Arenal hike and then jump into the jacuzzi. You can see the Arenal volcano on a clear day. The breakfast was delicious. Natascha is very friendly and checked if we were happy and if we needed anything. This is a great location for la Fortuna. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in La Fortuna! The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed, just as described. We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

Barbara went above and beyond what I expected as a host based on my Air BnB experiences so far, and her husband Lawrence was amazing as well. They both went above and beyond to assure my stay was comfortable and my first time experience in Costa Rica the best. They were quite helpful in suggesting local things to do and in facilitating my success as a guest. I can't say enough about this experience with them. Their guest house was a perfect accomodation.

Jurgen and his wife were very welcoming and hospitable. I had a good time talking to them and sharing some snacks. It’s the perfect place where you can relax and have a nice swim before bed. Thank you for everything I had a wonderful stay.
